Chapter 8: School

Levi starts his new school today. It's perfect weather for the move and everyone seems chipper and happy. Especially Eren who is excited for Levi about his new school.

It's been a few days since Eren started living at the Acker-Smith residence, and the boy is settling well. Knows where everything is.

He's holding onto Levi's hand as they walk down to the kitchen.

He's all happy cherub until-

"LEVI WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO YOUR UNIFORM!"

"..." levi blinks hiding a small smirk. Already dressed in his asual attire. "What ever do you mean?"

"IT'S ORANGE!" Erwin fumes. "THERE'S PAINT! STAINED! ON THE CLOTHES!"

"... is there?... well shit. I guess ill have to wear my hoody to school" he shrugs.

"Grr, What the hell happened to it?!" Erwin Continues to rage. His loud voice scaring the small child like it has so many times before. Eren cowers behind Levi legs, hugging them and resting his head on the teens bum.

Erwin eyes Eren suspiciously. "Was it you?!" Erwin asks the kid, pulling his arm out.

"N-no! I didn't do it!"

Erwin drags Eren to towards the bathroom. "Are you lying? If you lie you get the soap in your mouth.

"LET HIM GO! " levi snaps grabbing Eren away from Erwin "It wasnt him it was me. Why would he wreck my uniform. think about it?" Levi says petting Erens hair to sooth him "Just send me back to my old school! I dont have a uniform so just send me back!"

Erwin looks at Levi sceptically. He sighs and bows his head in apology to Eren. "Your not going back to your old school. I'll get you a new uniform. In the meantime, you're gonna have to go casual." He sighs, glaring a little at Levi.
"Kuchel! Drive your son to school!" He yells before taking Eren's hand and staring at him. "How about you come see what I do for a living while Levi is away, huh?"

"No thank you... I'm gonna draw." Eren says quietly.

"Mums taking him to kinder" Levi glares. "And if you do anything to him he will scream and cry bloody murder" he warns

"Kinder doesn't start until 11, Levi." Erwin rolls his eyes. "I not going to harm him. I'm going to show him how to be a buisness man."

"I wanna play in Levi's room." Eren says.

"Hes fucking six. You wont teach him... i have coloured pencils in my room"

"Yay! Green? Is there green?!" Eren asks looking up at Levi and tugging in his pants to grab his attention.

Erwin huffs and walks away.
"Yes Eren theres green" Levi says ruffling his hair. "Have fun at kindergarten okay? I have to go" Levi says

"Okay! Tell me everything when you get back!" Eren grins hugging Levi before Kuchel comes and Levi gets pulled out the door.

Eren, now left alone where he stands climbs up the stairs to Levi's bedroom. What mischief can this little tyke get up to?

"Mum Erwin is stupid. You know I'm going to get bullied right!?" Levi snaps to kuchel on his way to school.

"Oh you'll be fine! Have a little Faith, Levi." She says placing a hand on his as she drives. "Erwin is just trying to look out for you."

Kuchel parks alongside a school surrounded by tall gates. The school looks like an old castle, and prim and proper students are making their way inside.
