Chapter 23: OPEN YOUR FUCKING EYES!

"Levi... hey Levi.... Levi wake up" Eren shakes him. "You need to leave before douchbeag wakes."

"Mmph... yeah yeah" Levi sits up. The blanket falling to gather at his hips. Levi turns his head to Eren glancing tierdly over his shoulder at the boy. His hair messy. Levi rubs his eyes and Erens heart skips a few beats. Levi is so beautiful...

"Go on. Get. Before he comes in"

'Before I kiss you.'

Levi nods tierdly and slides out of bed. "Fuck you're up so early" Levi grunts and shuffles out of the room.

"Military" is all Eren says before he flops backwards and sighs.

An hour later, the asshole has awaken. Sophie immediately packs for his buisness meeting and ignores Levi. He's angry that the man had refused to give him sex last night. He loathes that. When Eren wanders out, Sophie glares at him too since it was all his fault all this happened.

"See you when you get back" Levi frowns tierdly.

Sophie nods and grabs Levi by the shoulders forcing a rough kiss onto him before breaking away and staring directly at Eren who looks away in jealousy.

Sophie grunts and then slams the door behind him angrily.

"...I hate him." Eren growls.

"I know" Levi sighs and walks to the kitchen.

"But we're in love and you're just going to have to live with that..."

Eren can't belive what he is hearing. How can Levi love thay guy!? How can he see anything in him!? A future!? Kids!? Happiness!? None of that Sophie has to offer. The man is violent and disgusting and Eren hates him.

He speaks his mind for once. Telling him excatly that. Expressing how much hatred he has and Levi begins turning red in anger as well.

"Shut up, Eren! You dont know Sophie like i do! This is just your jealousy talking!"

"Levi jealousy is one thing, but knowing is another" Eren sighs and sits down. "Your fights get really serious, Levi. You're in an abusive relationship."

"I am not in an abusive relationship. I told you he loves me!"

"I'm not saying he doesn't love you, not at all!" Eren says defensively. "I'm just saying... that maybe he doesn't enough."

"I wont hear your bullshit! Now if you dont mind i have a house to clean!"

Eren sighs and rubs his temples in frustration. Levi leaves him in a huff. Angry by the looks of things. "Oh Levi... I can't help you if you won't open your eyes..." he says inaudibly.

Levi growls in frustration and grabs out a broom, angrily brushing and pushing around dirt.

"Need help?" Eren asks after a while.

"I'm prefectly fucking fine. Thanks" Levi spits with venom.

The harshness makes Eren jump back a little. The boys eyes sag downwards. "Right... I'll just go for a walk then, huh?"

"Hmph. Whatever" Levi pouts looking angrily away. He doesn't like it when  Eren talks shit about his boyfriend. He especially Hates being told his choices are wrong. "Walk safely" he growls.

Eren turns to walk but then he stops and turns back around. "Can I ask you something?" Eren asks. Before Levi answers, he talks again. "Are you happy being slapped in the face repeatedly by him? Are you happy being pushed around and treated like a slave? Are you happy having him swear at you, fight you, beat you up and force you to have sex? Be honest."

Levi turns his head sharply to Eren "i wont have you questioning me!" Levi yells. Eren only rolls his eyes. Levi is blind. So helplesly blind.

"Just at least have a think about it. He isn't treating you very nicely. It hurts me more than having you and him kiss. Hurts more than anything" Eren sighs before turning back to go on his walk.

Levi glares at Erens back.

"This isn't about you though..." he says making Eren tence. That is not what he was saying at all. "Eren grown ups have issues they have to deal with. I'm happy with him. I except him for who he is good and bad. Wrong and right-"

"Levi I never ONCE said this was about me! I'm not a little six year old brat, okay? I know what I'm seeing and what I'm seeing is that fuck faced fuck boy hurting and messing around with you! I'm not saying this because I'm jealous! I'm saying this because one day you might even be hospitalised or not even around anymore if you stay with him! Stop being blind and open your FUCKING EYES!" Eren yells, grabbing onto Levis shoulders. Erens angry. Really angry and Levi can see that. He stops to think os a retort for a moment but is quickly cut off by more yelling.

"Can't you see? Do I have to rip off your damn shirt and point to all those fucking bruises on your chest?! Don't think I don't know where they're from. I'm not stupid!"

"ALRIGHT JUT HOLD ON FOR A MINUTE!" Levi raises his voice but Eren isn't finished just yet.

"Just last night you locked yourself in the bathroom. Why?! Because you were scared?! Even YOU, DON'T FEEL SAFE ENOUGH AROUND HIM! YOU CAN SEE THE DANGER YET YOU IGNORE IT! LEVI HE HURTS YOU AND YOU ALLOW IT BECAUSE YOU ARE BLINDED BY YOUR STUPID FEELINGS!" Eren shouts at the top if his lungs, tears forming in his eyes as he recalls the times as if he's watching them on repeat. Levi being pushed around like a speck of dust. Like nothing. He shakes Levi's shoulder before pulling him into a hug. "Can't you see...?" he whispers gently to the man who now stands ther frozen. He has nothing to say. He doesn't know what to say. Erens even crying over this. Bawling in frustration.

"Eren..." is all he whispers out. Not hugging Eren back but instead staying tence and shocked in his arms till Eren pulls back from him,  sniffing.

Levi nods his head to Eren. "I'm sorry for yelling at you... i know you're only trying to protect me" Levi speaks gently.

"It's useless" Eren sniffs wiping his eyes, "If you don't protect yourself."

Levi nods "you probably think I'm pretty stupid..." Levi frowns. "Thanks i... i understand what you're talking about..." Levi blinks still shocked. Eren got through to him. Somehow, the man now sees what Eren wanted him to.

Eren pants and blinks at Levi, after wiping his eyes. He sniffs. "Umm... I'll go for that walk now" Eren mumbles.

"No... no don't" Levi shakes his head and turns on the kettle "stay and keep me company... I'll make us tea"

"Alright..." Eren agrees and then takes the broom off of Levi. "I'll clean up then."

"Okay" Levi sighs and gets out some cups watching Eren carefully. Oh how he has missed the small brat that used to brighten his life and is once more.

Once the halls have been swept and the tea has been made, the boys sit down at the table, quietly. Both just thinking about the rant Eren had used against Levi. For good reason, of course. Yet still it was pretty full on. Never has Eren yelled at Levi like that. Nor has Levi seen Eren get so worked up about something. It's nothing to do with his jealousy. It was pure worry.

Levi sighs and glances to Eren "anything you want to do today?"

"I want to see Adian"

"Adian? Wish granted. We're taking the Ackerbike"

"You named it. Oh god" Eren rolls his eyes. They finish their tea and off they go on the Ackerbike.
