Chapter 30: Perfect

Eren walks slowly over to the table and sits down opposite Levi who puts the plates down on the table. He puts the candles down as well and lights each one up. It's just them. Having a candle dinner whilst under the stars. The light give off a very romantic setting and Eren finds that his cheeks heat up, not from the flame of the candle. "It's beautiful" he suddenly says after sitting down.

Levi sighs "i know its not the nice fancy dinner you planned for me. I just thought maybe-"

"No no! It's perfect!"

Levi nods "... well... that's good. Are you cold? We should have brought jackets out, huh?" Levi snorts and bites into his burger like thing.

Eren shrugs and bites into his food. "It's nothing compared to the conditions we slept in at Military school."

Levi nods his head "so you brought flowers to mum?" He asks and continues eating.

"Yes. I even talked to her for a little while. Told her how I was going to marry you."

Levi chokes and covers his mouth before bending over and swallowing. He looms up and stares at Eren "m-mar- excuse me!?"

"What?" Eren blinks innocently. "We're going to get married."

"Oh? And you're sure about that?" Levi frowns "what if i don't want to get married, Eren?"

"That's okay. We don't have to get married right away" he states and takes a bite out of his chicken salad roll. Chews. Swallows. "First we have to date. And have sex."

"Sex. Huh" Levi deadpans and sighs looking out over the very dead garden. "You're incredibly sure of yourself... i worry actually"

"How come?" Eren asks with furrowed brows.

"Because you have your heart set on me. I don't. Like you. It's pressuring me to like you, Eren! And maybe i feel slightly indebted to like you or something but its working- wait. Eugh! What i mean is. What if the man of my dreams isn't you!? It'll crush you, Eren and i don't want that for you. If I'm happily married to someome else... will you move on or will you... i just... you may never find someome then... i dont want that for you..."

Levi sighs. But he misunderstands. Hes thinking about the future too much. Eren knows this. Levi doesn't have his heart set on anyone yet. And for the time that he doesn't, Eren is open to a possibility. He wants Levi to be happy, Sure. But while theres an opportunity to be the one that makes him so. Eren will fight for Levis love.

"Levi" Eren says seriously with a sigh and puts his food down, leaning back and looking up at the stars. "I'm just going to be a dick and say that I don't care. I don't care if you find somebody else in the future and I live alone. Until then, I'm going to try and make you happy."

Levi stares at the boy "... i just don't want you to be hurt... i want you to be happy" Levi frowns suddenly loosing his appetite.

Eren releases a long loud groan. "I'm not a princess."

"Yeah well neither am i!" Levi growls "You can't set your heart on me!" Levi stands up ready to storm off but he stops himself and sits back down sagging in his chair. Nothing good will come from an argument. "... I'm sorry... i know you aren't a princess. But, i promised I'd look after you... and lately it seems You've been doing more and more of that to me than i have you... you aren't a little kid anymore"

"That's right" Eren nods looking around before crossing his arms. "Which means it is legal to date me."

"Mhm" Levi raises an eyebrow. Now finished his burger. Eren has finished his too and Levi notices this. He sighs and stands up taking both plates. "I'll be right back"

"Alright" Eren hums and stands up to lay down in the grass, damp from the cool night air and buzzing with life of the night insects.

He stares at the blades and watches the beautiful sky twinkle above them. Smiling to himself.

"Eren" Levis voice speaks and he sits beside the boy with a blanket "cold?" He says suggesting a cuddle for warmth. Eren isn't cold. But he'll say he is for a cuddle with Levi.

Eren nods and snuggles under the blankets with a big smile and leans into Levi. Like a lot. A lot lot. He loves his Levi cuddles. He's only got so many in his lifetime. Levi doesn't mind though. He snuggles with Eren. And cuddles into the boys strong chest before glancing up at him. "... still wanna make out?" He blinks remembering his earlier promise.

"HELL YES!" Eren shouts before freezing and glancing around. "Ahem... sure. I mean if you still want to that is..."

Levi rolls his eyes "it was your suggestion" he says turning to Eren and cupping his cheeks kissing him gently "... what possition you wanna be in to do this?" He asks wrapping his arms around Erens neck.

Eren doesnt know. He shakes his head unsure and levi sighs.

"Well? How have you always imagined making out with me? Just change it a little to under the stars"

"Well... you would be on top of me" Eren says, looking up as he thinks about it. "Liiiikkke, this!" He lays down and pulls Levi onto his chest, face to face. Smooth move.

Levi chuckles gently "and...? Where would my hands be he says gently before screwing his face up "don't make me touch anything though or ill-" Levi is cut off by Eren giggling a little and kissing Levis hands before moving them to the possition he wants them; placed firmly on his chest. "Like this. And I would have a hand on your back like so, and another gently cupping your cheek" Eren hums with a small laugh.

Levi stares at Eren and brings their lips close together before stopping about an inch away from Erens. "So... ready?"

Eren huffs in slight irritation before nodding. "Yes."

'I've been ready my whole life for this!'

Levi smirks a little before his smirk fades and his eyes close. Eren shuts his eyes too as he feels Levis lips press hard against his.

Shivers immediately get sent through Eren's body at the softness of Levi's lips. It's not the first time he's kissed Levi but God damn those lips are addictive... Their lips move against each other for glorious seconds at a time. Soft gentle kisses. Eren puts all his heart and soul into the kisses with Levi. In hopes that maybe Levi will understand how much he loves him.

Levi hums gently and his hands slide up Erens chest a little before sliding back down. The kiss starts to get more heated and Levi slips his tongue into Erens mouth. A feeling Erens has never been given by Levi but he kisses back, his tongue powerful but gentle and sweet like a real lovers should. Levi moans gently into the kiss and Eren rubs a hand up and down his back. He can feel every inch of Levi against him. He feels as his chest heaves at their kissing and it gets more and more heated. Levi puts his arms around Erens neck and the two of them roll until Eren is above Levi and Levi is below him holding his arms around Erens neck, the boys arms either side of him. They suck and kiss. Swirling their tongues and biting gently at each others lips. They flip again and its Levi ontop of Eren again. His hands go to the brunettes hair and tangle with it his legs now either side of his waist. Eren pusnes his torso upwards so they're both sitting up and Levi breaks the kiss with a pant. Staring at Eren. "... you're a... really good kisser" he mumbles.

"Thanks" Eren pants out a little with a small smile. It means a lot coming from Levi and he hugs him with a small laugh. "You are... you are too."

Levi hugs him back "satisfied, Brat?"

"Very! Your lips are so soft... can we do that again some day?" Eren asks innocently.

"Hmm... i don't really plan on it" Levi frowns unpersuaded. "But i admit it was kinda nice". He frowns, blushing.

Eren giggles and kisses Levi's cheek regardless for if the man is okay with that or not. Eren after their little make out session is now fluttering in happiness. Something like that has only occurred in his dreams. But now... now he has actually made out with Levi in real life. One thing off the buckets list. Now that just leaves:

1) Date Levi

2) fuck Levi

3) marry Levi
