Chapter 14 - Uncivilized person!

Angel's P.O.V.

      I reach the foundation class and sit at my usual place. I pray that Cole shouldn't come today.

    God! Please help me. Hope he gets sick or locked inside the toilet or anything God I can't face him today!

     Someone places a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to see who it is. It's Sandra and all her other friends smiling at me. I smile back faintly. I didn't realise when they entered the class. Maybe I was again lost in my thoughts.

    " Are you alright? You're looking tensed today." Sandra asks curiously.

    " No nothing like that. I'm good." I reply.

    " Okay. You should be happy as you're the luckiest girl in the city." Sandra chirps.

     I look at her cluelessly as I have no idea about why she thinks I'm the luckiest girl.

    " Why do you think so?" I ask curiously.

    " Oh come on! You have the hottest guy in our city as your partner. What more could any girl wish for?" Sandra laughs as her other friends nod.
 
    " Oh yes!" I answer sarcastically and look ahead.

      Really they think I'm lucky? They have no idea what's going on in my life.

    I want to end ties with my abusive boyfriend but he is not ready. I have to hide all this from my BFF Jessica as I know if she comes to know what Alex has done with me, she will literally want to cut his balls off. And I don't want Alex to hurt her at all. So I'm never going to tell this to her.

    And Cole! Just few days ago he didn't even exist in my life. And now here he is as my partner, as my coach, as my neighbour. My life is getting just so messed up. I hate him. I don't ever want to see his face.

    He acted so sweet and caring today morning. What did he think? He would get me so easily. I'm not going to fall prey once again to anyone's sweet or caring fake fucking behaviour after Alex.

   I may be dumb to believe in Alex's fake sweet nature but not a fool to again repeat the same mistake and fall for Cole. I'm not going to talk to him from now.

   A person like Cole whose a troublemaker, who broke into a library to break everything in there for God know's what reason, who has a I don't give a fuck attitude for everyone around him, who is a murder accused cannot be so sweet and caring.

    My thoughts are disturbed by a loud thud! noise next to me. I literally jump off my seat. Someone just dumped his or her bag next to me. I look towards the person to see who it is. It is Cole looking at me with an annoyed face. I really want to shout right in his face for scaring me out like that.

   Doesn't he have any basic manners? Uncivilized person!

    I look at him angrily. And then just roll my eyes and look towards Miss. Hershey entering the class. She greets everyone as usual and starts teaching. I peek at Cole from the corner of my eye who is sitting right next to me. I shiver when I see he too was peeking at me. He raises an eyebrow and opens his mouth to say something.

    " Don't say anything right now. I need to concentrate. I'm here to study not to talk." I say and cut him off before he could say a word.

    " Yeah sincere freaky student!" He muttered and rolled his eyes.

     I really want to answer him back but I ignore and concentrate on what Miss. Hershey is teaching.

     The class ends. I quickly pick my bag and try to run out of the class right to my car as I dont want to talk to Cole at all. But as soon as I turn to leave Cole holds my wrist firmly.

    " Don't try to run away. I need an explanation." He mutters angrily.

    " About what?" I ask in a low voice as I dont want anyone to hear except Cole.

    But almost everyone who are in the class have their eyes on us. I look around and see Apple and Sandra staring at me with their mouths wide open. I gasp looking at them. Cole too looks around.

    He realizes everyone's attention is at us so he leaves the firm grip he had on my wrist. He walks out of the class quickly. I too leave as I didn't wanted to answer any questions which I am sure that Sandra and her friends would ask right now.
