Chapter 28- A part of me knew it was Cole

Angel's P.O.V.

"I need to leave. I'll meet you all soon.".says Cole and sits hurriedly in his car.

"Wait! Where are you going?" I ask stopping Cole.

"I'll tell you later."says Cole and starts his car.

I angrily go and stand right in front of his car.

"Tell me now!" I command.

"Move!"shouts Cole.

"I won't."I say angrily.

" You are so damn stubborn!"fumes Cole.

" Whatever!" I say rolling my eyes.

" I'm going to the police station. The cops are looking for me. Alex filed a complaint against me for assaulting him. Now move!"mutters Cole.

I stand still for a moment. What I feared is true now!

" I'm coming with you." I say and open the car's door.

" No wait. Listen, I need to go alone. I'll handle everything. Don't worry."explains Cole but I ignore him and sit next to him.

"Why don't you understand? You shouldn't come with me."says Cole.

"All this is actually happening because of me, so I know what I have to do." I say.

" It is not because of you, it is because of that dick!"fumes Cole.

" Language!" I say and Cole rolls his eyes.

" Will you guys stop arguing and go?"says Jessica.

"Yes, angel. There's no time for this. Please let me go alone, everything thing will be okay."explains Cole.

" I'm coming with you! That's it." I fume.

"You will never listen to me, will you?"mutters Cole annoyingly.

"I won't." I say.

Cole just shakes his head and apparently looks tired of arguing with me. He starts driving his car towards the police station.

" Are you scared or nervous?"asks Cole breaking the awkward silence that has formed between us for the last few minutes.

" Yes." I nod.

"Just relax. There's no need to be so worried. It's a minor thing, nothing big."says Cole.

"Aren't you worried about yourself?" I ask.

" No, I'm not. I'm used to it."smirks Cole.

"Have you been to jail before?" I ask curiously.

"Ofcourse, for fights, racing and all that stuff."laughs Cole.

" I guess I don't know much about Cole 'the bad boy'." I smirk.

" You won't want to know, I guess."says Cole and suddenly the smirk on his face disappears.

" I would like to know." I state.

" I will tell you someday."says Cole.

Suddenly, thoughts about that library incident which terrified me start filling my mind. I glance at his hand which had the same 'Devil' tattoo as the guy in the library. Was it really Cole?

" That night, at the library, was that you?" I ask as I couldn't resist the urge of asking the question which has been in my mind for so long.

" I mean​, were you the person who flashed the torch on my face and messed up and broke everything in the library?" I continue.

Cole remains silent for a minute and then bursts out laughing.

"What?" I ask.

"Please leave me! Please leave me!" Cole says still laughing madly.

"What are you saying?" I ask confused.

"This is what you had said, my little freak!" Cole says finally controlling his laughter.

"When?" I ask.

"In the library!" Cole says and starts laughing again.

Oh God! A part of me knew it was Cole! Why was he doing all that?

"Shut up! Why did you do all that?" I ask annoyed by Cole's laughter.

"That old chap had got me detained so it was a kind of revenge for that."smirks Cole.

"Oh!" I exclaim.

"But what were you doing the there?"asks Cole.

" I was punished that day. I'm happy you did that." I smile.

"Yup." Cole says and kisses my head making me blush.

A few minutes back, I was so scared and worried about whatever Alex has done. But now, after talking to Cole, all those feelings have vanished. I'm so glad to have Cole.

" I love you." I smile.

"Aww...my little freak, I love you so much!"says Cole and kisses me spontaneously on my head, cheeks and lips. I'm sure I must be red as a tomato right now.

"Pay attention on the road, Cole. You are driving." I say.

" You are the one whose distracting me."says Cole.

" No, I'm not distracting you. You are getting distracted." I smirk.

" Whatever!" Cole says and rolls his eyes.
