Chapter 31- As expected!

Angel's P.O.V.

I wake up at the sound of my old wooden alarm clock. This alarm always makes me smile, this alarm clock is the last gift I got from my grandfather, only a day before he passed away seven years ago when I was just a 10 year old.

He always made me feel so special and called me his little princess. Although, whenever he called me his princess I used to frown and say that I want to be a queen, not a princess. I giggle at the old memories with tear filled eyes.

My Mom was well aware that I hated the word princess, so she always called me queen. But my dad preferred calling me his little angel, well I guess that is the reason why he named me Angel.I miss my family so much. My parents were the best in the world. They too left me all alone in this world, when I was 14.

But not many people know about it, Jessica and Ethan are my only friends who know about what happened to my parents. And they promised me they won't tell anyone else about it. I hated when anyone showed me sympathy just because I'm an orphan. So, I prefer to hide it and lie that my parents stay in another town.

Although I always had Jessica and Ethan by my side, they were my only true friends and my family. But there always existed an empty space in my heart, but it is slowly filling up and I feel less lonely, since I met Cole. It's true that he can never replace my parents, but he does love me unconditionally like them.

I quickly wipe my tears which have started to roll down my cheeks as I hear Cole honking his car right outside my house. I quickly go to my window and ask him to wait.

I'm late as usual, but it's the first day after my summer break so I dress up quickly in a dark blue jeans and white top. I grab my bag and run out of the house towards Cole's car. I sit quickly in it.

" Hey, little freak."smiles Cole.

" Good morning, self-obsesssd  person." I smile back.

I'm so excited to go back to college after summer break. So much has changed in this break. And my excitement has doubled as I'm going with Cole as his official girlfriend. I'm sure some girls would hate me for it, but it's okay. I don't care if I lose a few fake friends, and if they are my real friends they should be happy about me, right?

We reach our college and park the car. I get out of the car and start walking but Cole grabs my hand and pulls me back.

" What?" I ask.

" Hold my hand and walk."says Cole and starts walking with my hand in his.

I blush as we walk through the corridor to our classroom as people stared and gasped seeing us.

" You know you look so beautiful when you blush like this for me, it makes me feel so special."murmurs Cole in my ears making my breath stop for a moment and my body getting goosebumps.

" I am not blushing, okay!" I defend.

" Oh yeah, I see..."says Cole.

I just stare angrily at him.

" You win! Now stop staring like that at me, anger makes you look 100 times sexier. And I wouldn't mind doing what I want to do right now in front of the whole class."smirks Cole.

Ethan clears his throat. I didn't realise he is standing behind us.

" Done with your kinky talks."teases Ethan and walks towards Jessica who is sitting and smiling at us.

I and Cole sit at the bench behind them.

" You guys are the center of attention as well as the gossip today in college."says Jessica.

I just nod and laugh as the teacher enters the class and starts teaching.

Today's lecture were boring as usual. Luckily, it's break time now. I walk towards the canteen alone as Cole has gone for his volleyball practice and I can't find Jessica and Ethan too.

As soon as I enter the canteen, I see Daisy waving at me. I go and sit with her as her table is empty. It's been a long time since we sat together and talked.

" How have you been?" I ask.

" Totally fine." She smiles.

" Oh good!" I say.

" So, you and Cole?"she asks curiously.

As expected!

" Yeah..." I murmur.

Suddenly, the look on her face changes.

" I don't think he is the right guy for you." she says politely.

" I mean, I don't mean to hurt you. But do you know him well enough?"she asks.

" What do you mean? " I ask looking confused.

" You know he is a murderer..." Daisy whispers softly.

" Yeah, I heard something like this." I say in a casual tone.

" Must be a rumour." I add.

" Well, I don't think it is. You really need to talk to him. Be safe."warns Daisy.

I'm sure it must be a rumour. There are many rumours about him because of his bad boy attitude but I really don't think my Cole has murdered someone or has he?
