Jade was getting sick of it. Since her best friend had discovered what Tinder was, it was all Perrie had gone on about. Jade's problem was that she loves Perrie and all she was dealing with lately was Perrie showing her a number of 'hot guys' that Perrie had matched with. She really was getting frustrated and each time Perrie was with her she dreaded the moment Perrie would unlock her phone as the first thing she did was open that app.
The girls had a weird relationship if you looked in from an outside perspective. Anyone would think that the two were more than friends with how close they were. Hands were often laced together, fingers running through each others hair and kisses on cheeks. But, the girls had known each other since they were children and the closeness was natural. Well, it was natural to Perrie but in recent years Jade had found it awfully confusing. That's right, Jade developed feelings for Perrie years ago and still kept them firmly locked away. Although the girls other best friends, Leigh and Jesy, had both worked out what was going on and Jade had begged them to keep it a secret. Jade and Perrie had met the other two at the beginning of high school them all being put in the same form. They were all now in college studying for university and to no one's surprise Jade and Perrie had applied for the same university just choosing different subjects.
Perrie was very open when it comes to her sexuality and one day had told Jade that she 'thinks' that she is bisexual. So sometimes on Tinder a message from a girl would pop up after they'd been matched and this seemed to annoy Jade more. The only girl that should be with Perrie in Jade's mind was her. That was when she had a moment of genius, an idea had popped into her head and she was currently on her way round to Jesy's house to discuss it with her.
"Are you stupid?" Jesy had screeched upon hearing Jade's idea.
"It's fool proof Jesy!" Jade defended herself.
"I have to agree with Jade here" Leigh said "Perrie is so oblivious she would never put two and two together".
"Exactly. All I do is create this fake profile and find some random photo to go with it. Arrange a few dates and when the guy is a no show I can swoop in all charming and she will realise it was me all along" Jade says with a smug as she bumps shoulders with Leigh-Anne.
"Don't you think it is a bit unfair on Perrie though? She could fall in love with the guy and then he breaks her heart by not showing up" Jesy says still with a frown on her face.
"She's not getting shown up though is she! I'll be there and she won't be alone" Jade said having thought of answers to every possible question Jesy could ask her.
"And how would you explain you being nearby every single time she has a date? That's a little suspicious" Jesy added.
"Well, I'll text her. Ask her how the date is going and once she says 'he's a no show' I'll tell her I'm on my way. I'll leave enough time for me to have driven there then I'll go in" Jade adds.
"I think this is a terrible idea, I know you will get caught and this will upset Perrie more than you just telling her you like her" Jesy said firmly "but, I'm not going to change your mind".
"I knew you'd come round!" Jade said excitedly "you both can help me make the profile".
"I like the name Adam or Dan, something that doesn't make him sound like an idiot" Jade had said "Leigh, how are you getting on with those photos?"
"I have some here, I'll send you them now" Leigh said.
"When you get caught I'm not saying I had any part in this. Perrie will kill you Leigh, I hope you know that" Jesy sighed.
