Day 1
That's when I first laid eyes on her. I saw the delivery van and a new arrival into our block of flats. Apart from this arrival would be my neighbour and I was hoping that who ever it was wasn't a loud mouth. That's when I saw a group of people get out of a car and make their way towards the doors. A few carrying boxes and a girl dragging her suitcase. To say the girl was pretty was an under statement, she was gorgeous. She had long blonde hair and a slim figure. However her face was covered by the biggest sunglasses I had ever seen. I was heading down to the local supermarket to grab some things for my dinner. As I headed down the stairs I crossed paths with the girl and her family.
"Hi!" She beamed.
"Hiya" I smiled and then carried on walking.

Day 4
The next time I saw her was in the lifts on my way to work. It was conformation that she was indeed the one out of the group of people to move into the building. I was in the lift and hit the ground floor level but as the doors began to close I heard someone shout wait. I opened the lift doors and in came the blonde girl.
"Thank you so much" she breathed out "I'm already late".
"No problem, did you move in next door?" I asked.
"Yes, I just moved in! You're my neighbour then, great!" She smiled.
"Oh I'm Jade" I said holding out my hand for her to shake.
"Perrie" she said whilst rejecting my handshake and pulling me in for a hug.

Day 11
When I next saw her was for all the wrong reasons. She must be having some sort of house warming party however I didn't get an invite. It got to around 11pm and I knew I had an early morning and the music was far too loud. I tried and tried to with stand the noise but I couldn't. I found my onesie and went over to Perrie's flat. I knocked on the door and Perrie opened it after a few seconds.
"Jade! Hi! Love the onesie, how can I help?" She smiled.
"Erm, I don't mean to be rude but I have a really early morning tomorrow and your music is really loud" I said almost at a whisper.
"Oh! Sorry, yeah. Everyone is getting ready to leave now. I'm sorry for keeping you up" Perrie apologised.

Day 16
I found myself going to Perrie's flat. Why? I don't know. I just fancied a chat with someone and Perrie had been here just over two weeks and I was yet to have a proper conversation with her. I knocked on her door and was surprised to have an answer within a couple of seconds.
"Hi Jade, I don't have any music on, how can I help?" Perrie laughed lightly.
"Sorry about that. I just had a 6am wake up call. I just wondered if you fancied a cup of tea? I mean I haven't had a proper conversation with you yet" I mentioned.
"Oh! Come on in, I have tea and some biscuits if that suits you" Perrie smiled.
"Sounds perfect" I said following her in.
"How do you like your tea?" Perrie called from in her kitchen.
"Milk and two sugars please" I called back whilst looking around Perrie's flat. She had made the place more colourful than my flat. Her walls were covered in pictures and quirky pieces. Mine were plain and neat. She seemed to be a lot more outgoing than I am.
"Here you go" she said handing me my cup "so how long have you lived here?"
"Around 2 years, it's nice to have someone of a similar age to me around. Everyone else is too old" I laughed. Perrie agreed with me and told me how I was the only young adult she had met.
The girls were polar opposites. Where Perrie was loud and expressive; Jade was collected and calm liking reading and doing puzzles. Where as Perrie seemed to like loud music and partying. The girls instantly learnt new things about each other and Perrie took a mental note to not piss Jade off with her music again.
They then spent the rest of their evening chatting and a bond was starting to form between the pair of them.
