We continued down the road heading to town. I felt Josh's grip tighten on my hand as looked back at a couple in their early 20s giving us dirty looks.
"its okay babe" josh whispered to me swinging our hands back and fourth. I sighed and nodded.
"Where do you wanna go?" Josh asked tilting his head a little still looking foward.
"Um.." I stuttered, "What about the park?" I asked and he nodded. Josh let go of my hand and my fingers slipped from his. He walked a few strides ahead of me then turned around to face me. Walking backwards josh almost slips a few of times. I chuckle as he trips and stumbles backwards a little.
"hey, you try walking backwards" he growled in a playful tone.
"fine then" i said taking his spot as he took mine. I stepped on a rock and fell onto my butt.
"Fuck" i cursed laughing at my stupidity and Josh doubled over on the floor laughing.
"Oh my Tyler a-are you okay?" he asked still laughing. I nodded and stood up regaining my dignity.
"off to the park we go" Josh said skipping in the direction to a busy road.
