Marionette's POV
"What the hell is that?!"
I could feel the power radiating of the magnificent sword and flowing straight into me. It and I were becoming one in power, if not already connected. In fact I felt so much power, I felt my eyes be covered by something. Not a cloth, or another fabric, it seemed like they were glowing. I wasn't in control of my body, but yet I was. I wasn't trying to use my power, but my eyes were glowing and I radiated grace and power. It was as I had become the moon goddess. My familiars always said I was an magical offspring on the goddess of the moon and luck. I didn't doubt them, but I did doubt that the moon goddess had any interest in me. I was so wrong. The sword I held was defiantly a gift with the power of the moon, and now it's power is at my fingertips."You will not harm this offspring of mine." This wasn't my voice, yet I was talking. "She is blessed and will continue to be blessed my me." I had no control over myself. The voice that came from my mouth was soft yet powerful. They had a mother's warmth and warrior's vocabulary.
My hand, which was also not controlled by me, raised the sword in a threatening way towards the frightened lord. "You wear the form of a man that is not you, and a power beyond your control is using you. There is no saving you, only saving the world from you, Hawkmoth!"
Adrien POV's
By the time we reached the town square where the witch burning was being held you could see the smoke from the fire. I was panting hard from running when I finally spotted her. She wore a white dress of rags and a rope around her waist that acted like a belt. The crowd was to thick for me to run through in time, and magic wouldn't insure her safety. I watch helplessly as the fire reached the mother of my unborn child, and the love of my life. She screamed bloody marry, and I couldn't help but scream with her. I fell to my knees with my hands covering my ears in shame. What man couldn't save his wife? What man couldn't protect his unborn child from the hateful destruction of the people? What man couldn't find a way to convince the people he was suppose to lead that this was wrong?
He can't.
And I am no man.
I am a boy that ran away from his problems, instead of facing them. I am a boy that fell in love with a beautiful, caring, smart, brave, a goddess among men, got her pregnant, and is going to let her die.
I am no man.
I am no boy.
I am a disappointment.
I am nothing.
The ground suddenly began to shake, snapping me out of my grief. I head whipped itself up to look upon my wife with a new, powerful, sword, and wearing a beautiful midnight blue dress that hugged her curves in all the right places. It had her one leg left free that added to the alluring factor, and designs that made her look like the goddess she was, but ready for battle.
She started speaking but I couldn't hear her over the relief I felt. She was alive well.
"There is no saving you, only saving the world from you, Hawkmoth!" I finally heard her speak.
"Yeah!" I yell, catching the attention of everyone. Looking around for a second I spot a old cart with a few hay bails on top, but still decide to climb it. "I am Adrien, you lord's son! Your real lord's son. That man is an impostor." I cry out. "He says magic is evil, yet he to uses magical properties to trick all of you. He is not my father, but one of his old friends that have betrayed him. His name is Anthony, and is being possessed by an accent evil." That last part wasn't me. It wasn't my voice. I suddenly can't move. My body moves on it own as a weapon of light and destruction is laid upon my hand.
You could feel it's power a mile away. Eyes feel like that were wider than i have ever opened them. When I look at Mari, I see her eyes glow a bright blue, from what I could tell, mine glow bright yellow. I now wear a outfit similar to the evil man, but bright gold chains laced over a white coat, and white pants.
"And you, Hawkmoth, shall pay the price for your actions against these people. You convicted this woman for no crime, and put her baby at fault when it hasn't even been born yet. You will pay! For through his strong man I, the God of the sun, destruction, and Unluck, shall proclaim that say by this days end, you will be dead, and these people will be free of your evil will. My wife the Goddess of the Moon, Love, and Luck, who speaks through that innocent, young witch, has read and reread a prophecy of which two people, binded the Sun & Moon Marriage spell shall be the light that snuffs out the darkness that is you forever!" The self proclaimed god says with my voice, but in the end my eyes and Mari's return to normal, and I cry once more. "People of Paris! Aren't you tired of being oppressed by this evil man. You fight, and take back you freedom! Let you never live in fear again! Rise and fight with us!"
The crowd cheers in bravery, and the guards that once were loyal to Anthony turn against him. The people take up their pitchforks and torches while screaming battle cries, and the guards spears are at the ready, pointed at the man they once thought of as their leader.
Mari takes it upon herself to hold end of her sword at Anthony's throat, keeping him in place. Her sneer could kill a man a the slightest of glances. If she was scary back them for only questioning her choice of clothes, then she is beyond pissed when you try to kill her baby.
Our baby. Our baby that is still alive and growing inside her. What a relief.
"You many have one the battle." Anthony leers, a puff of smoke circling him. "But you have not won the war."
