The holidays we're over.
Rather anxiously I entered the school building.
I walked to my locker with my friend Sylvia, and Sylvia's friend Jeremy.
They talked about many things that I was too tired to listen until Jeremy said something about his shadow  which caught my attention.

"What was that?" I asked

"I was just saying. It's weird how my shadow ain't here like yours innit?"Jeremy laughed

Sylvia complained about how Jeremy always talked about embarrassing topics and tried to shut him up.
Hours had passed and it was lunch time. I searched around the school desperate to find Jeremy.
After 20 minutes of rambling around school I eventually saw him slouching on a bench with his phone.
Jeremy was the fifth most popular guy in the entire school, I felt agitated to talk to him.

I went over and began to explain about why his shadow has disappeared and how  I thought that my shadow had somehow gathered other shadows to form a shadow army.
"Do you need a doctor?" He laughed "I'm pretty certain that shadows don't just come to life."
After a few minutes of dissing, I decided to find someone more interesting.
It was only a few seconds after I left when Jeremy began to realise what I was saying and followed me, I secretly smiled.
