"Mike please stop!" I said trying to crawl in my bedroom. "Shut the fuck up bitch." he said while kicking me in my stomach over and over. Now wheezing for air, I just decided to give up.
He bent over with his hands now wrapped around my neck. "Next time you try and leave me I'll kill you hoe. You hear me?" I couldn't breathe nor speak because the grip was getting tighter.
"YOU HEAR ME?" I nodded my head weakly. Mike finally let me go and walked away, leaving me to ball up and cry. What did I do to deserve this?
"Ry!" Tay said while shaking my arm. "Huh? What?" I asked while sitting up. "You had another one. Here. " she reached and gave me a glass of water.
"They're becoming more consistent now Tay. I thought therapy would help. " Tears were now coming down uncontrollably. "It felt so real." "You had a traumatic experiences Ry. It's not gonna go away easily and that's understandable."
"It's been two damn years. I know he's gone now but I don't feel like it. It's like he's controlling me all over again." " How about we get dressed and go shopping. This bum ass nigga don't deserved to be talked about." Tay suggested. "Sound good." I said sighing a little. She reached over and hugged before leaving me alone in deep thought.
Mike was my first real love. We dated from my senior year of high school to the end of sophomore year in college. He was really controlling at first but it then escalated to him physically harming me. I'm still trying to recover from what he put me through but it's hard at times. I promised myself I would never do relationships after him and I intend to keep my promise.
I needed to talk to Q and clear things up. I needed him to understand why I'm guarded and won't let him in. I decided to send him a quick text asking if he could meet me for dinner later that night so we could talk.

"You ready bae?" I asked now in a better mood. "Yea how I look?" "Bomb. No wonder Trell stay with your ass because other than that we all know you crazy." "He knows there's only one way out this damn relationship so he has no choice but to stay." she said. "I kinda got that when you ran him out the house chasing him with a knife." I said laughing reminiscing that day.
Trell had came by the house that day to ends things with Tay. They had gotten into a big argument over Tay setting his shoes and clothes on fire. She still doesn't want to tell me why she did that. But knowing Tay, it probably was something little. She has a very short temper and was not the one to play with.
"He'll think again before attempting to break up with me." she chuckled as we walked out the apartment. Today was going to be even better than yesterday. I repeated this in my mind over and over until I finally convinced myself.
