"Ryan!" I heard a voice say. Today I was here for my last interview of the day at a hospital. Hopefully if everything goes right, I'd be hired as a registered nurse.
"That's me." I said making my way over to woman. "Hi, how are you today?" I said speaking first. First impressions are everything when doing job interviews.
"I'm fine, thank you for asking." she said smiling and shaking my hand. "You can follow me into my office and we can get started right away Ms. Destiny."
After an hour long interview, I was finally out. She said she'd give me a call by the end of the week to see if I had gotten the position. Becoming a nurse was all a dream to me when I was young, now I'm making it a reality. Despite my past, I conquered a lot at my age that most people wouldn't even comprehend.
I decided to call Q to see if he wanted to meet up for lunch since I didn't eat anything at all since yesterday.
"Wassup ma?" Q answered the phone. Feeling myself blush, I caught myself from smiling like a little girl.
"Hey, I wanted to see if you wanted to get some food. I just got out my interview and I'm hungry as hell."
"I'm sorry Ry I can't. This ain't a good time right now. I'm still handling some business." He said.
"Oh ok cool." I said slightly annoyed. "Well just hit me up whenever you free I guess."
"Fix yo face cause I already know you frownin and shit." He said. "It's not fixed any type of way honestly. Imma just call Tay and see if she wanna go." I replied.
"Ok. How was the interview tho?" He asked.
Catching him up with the interview and just having small talk, we ended the phone call. After sending Tay a quick text, she replied saying she'd meet me. I feel like I hadn't seen her in forever and we needed to catch up on her life.
I felt like everything has been about me lately but I needed to know how Tay has been recently. Mentally, spiritually, physically, all of that.

After replying to Ryan, I quickly got out of bed and started getting ready for the day. Trell and I had a date night last night since he has to get back on the road today. It was very eventful.
"Babe" I said while kissing his neck. "Hmmm?" He hummed while hugging my body. "You gotta get up. Your jet leaves in two hours."
Rubbing his eyes, he finally looked at me. "Where you going sexy?" He asked. "Going get lunch with Ry and I got some errands to do after." I replied.
"Imma miss you man. Why you just don't come with me?" He said fully waking up. "Cause I got responsibilities that I can't just drop Trell. We talked about this."
