Chapter 2

**The next day**

*STILL KATE'S POV*

I woke up and checked my phone for the time and if I got any messages.  It said 10:27 a.m. and no messages. I was expecting none anyways. While grumbling, I got up, used the bathroom and then went downstairs for cereal. My favorite cereal is cinnamon toast crunch. As I was eating cereal, I turned on the t.v. and started to watch spongebob. Maddie came downstairs and joined me.

*MADDIE'S POV*

I slowly woke up, and heard the t.v. I looked at the clock, it said 10:34. I decided to go downstairs and get some cereal. As I was walking downstairs, Kate was down there. It was kinda strange because she's usually the last person to wake up.

'Hey. You decided to wake up early today eh?' I said with a smirk.

'Yah, quit yappin' she replied.

I got a bowl of frosted flakes and sat by Kate on the couch.

Frosted flakes is by far the best cereal.

We watched spongebob till our parents woke up. As they were coming down, they told kate and I to start packing.

I put away my bowl and went upstairs to pack.

*KATES POV*

I went upstairs to my room and started packing. I put my clothes in my turquoise luggage and put my posters, stuffed animals, (Yes, I still have my stuffed animals) pictures, etc. When my things in my room were completely gone and in the boxes, I checked the time. 4:16 p.m. I decided to text Hannah if she wanted to come over for the last time.

Me: 'Wanna come over and hang ?'

Hannah: 'Yah. Be there in 5'

Me: 'K'

We live in the same neighborhood.

She lives four houses down from mine. Minutes later I heard a knock. I ran down stairs and opened the door. Once I saw Hannah, my eyes were getting all teary.

*HANNAH'S POV*

Kate asked me if I wanted come over, of course I came. It might be last time I ever come over to their house. I knocked and Kate opened the door. When she saw me her eyes got all teary. I gave her the biggest hug. I squeezed her as hard as I could.

She invited me in and we went to her room. There was nothing in her room except for her bed. I was really gonna miss Kate.

'I can't believe your leaving tomorrow' I said with a pouty face

'If I could stay, I would. I'm going to miss Virginia. Ill miss you the most.' she said as my eyes got all watery.

'Me to. Things will be different without you. What time is the moving truck coming tomorrow?'

'First thing tomorrow. Its a five hour drive. Ugh'

'When you get there, call me'

'I will' she said.

My mom texted me and told me I had to go.

'Got to go. Mom wants me. Text me when the moving truck is here.' I said

Kate gave me a hug and I left.

*KATES POV*

When Hannah left, I looked at the clock. It said 8:37 p.m. I was gonna get a snack, but I forgot all the food was all packed up.

'Your fathers gonna get taco's from Taco Bell.' mom said.

'yay!'

When it comes to taco's, I can eat alot.

When my dad got home, we ate then, I went to my room and got ready for bed.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face. Then fell asleep. I was kind of excited to see the new house. I mean, it couldn't be that bad.
