Chapter 8

*A FEW WEEKS LATER*

I woke up to our neighbors dog barking.

I didn't know they even owned a dog.

I checked the time 9:16 a.m.

That's early for me since there's no school.

School starts in 4 weeks ughh.

What if I don't make any friends?

well ya, I have my Hayes, but I want more than just him.

I went downstairs, to my mom stirring chocolate chip pancake batter. mmmmm

'Goodmorning honey.' mom said

'mornin' I said staring at the pancake batter

I sat down on the couch.

'Can I go to the mall today?'

'sure , if Maddie comes with you.'

'ok'

I ran up the stairs and barged into Maddies room 'MADDIE!!!! wanna go to the mall with me..?'

'we can bring Nash and Hayes with us.(;

'fine.. I need a new outfit anywayz.' she said like a diva then laughed

'oh and breakfast will be done in 15 minutes'

I went back downstairs

'she said she will come. How about 1:30 p.m. Can you give us a ride?

'sure. ' mom said while flipping a pancake

I went back upstairs to my room, and texted Hayes

'Hey, wanna go to the mall with me and maddie?'

Hayes: 'ya. Let me ask my mom'

*HAYES POV*

I went downstairs and asked my mom

'Can Nash and I go to the mall with Kate and Maddie?'

'well good morning.' she said sarcastically

'goodmorning.' I said laughing

'can we go thoughhh?'

'Well, I guess, we don't  really have anything planned for today' she asked

'am I dropping you off?'

'i don't know. Ill ask.'

I went back upstairs

'YES she said we could go!'

Kate: 'yay! my mom can pick you up. will 1:30 be fine..?'

'ya. cya soon love you babe<33'

Kate: 'We will pick u guys up infront of your house. bye babe. xox'

I went back downstairs and put a bagel in the toaster oven thing. While I was waiting for it to be golden brown I grabbed the cream cheese out of the fridge.

I checked the clock, 9:37 a.m.

When the toaster beeped, I took out the bagel and almost drop it because it was SOOOO HOT! I grabbed a plate and set the bagel down.

I spreaded (yes, that's a word now haha) the cream cheese onto the bagel then headed back into my room.

I opened the door to my room and turned on the t.v.

I decided to watch SpongeBob because, why not?

I checked twitter and posted
