**THE NEXT DAY**

*August 1*

I woke up at 10:37 a.m.

I went downstairs to my mom watching the news

'Its gonna around the 65's today, there will be a little drizzle around 4-5 o'clock'

I got cinnamon toast crunch with milk with orange juice.

Maddie came down and poured herself a bowl to.

'Wanna go to the mall today with Nash and I?' Maddie asked

'Sure, can Hayes come?'

'No. you have to hang out with me and Nash. Of course he can come.' she said laughing.

'Be ready by 12'

I put my bowl in the sink and went upstairs.

I changed into my black leggings with my white north face jacket.

I checked the time 11:32 a.m.

I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and washed my face.

I opened the door where the towels were, and dried my face with a tan soft towel.

I took out my side braid, it was nice and wavy.

I slipped on my tan uggs, and waited for Maddie.

*MADDIES POV*

After I ate my bowl of cereal I walked up stairs to get ready.

I went to the bathroom turned on the curling iron, then brushed my teeth.

While I was waiting for the curling iron to heat up, I changed into my boot cut hollister jeans with my black shirt.

I went back to the bathroom and curled my hair. It took me about 30 minutes.

When I finished, I unplugged the curler, then put on my black North Face jacket, with a hot pink scarf.

I checked the time '11:41'

I went back to the bathroom, put some mascara on, then headed downstairs.

Kate was waiting for me downstairs playing flappy bird on her phone.

I put my silver glittery vans on,

'MOM WERE GOING TO THE MALL WELL BE BACK BY 4 OR SO'

Then we headed out to Nash's house.

It was a muggy, cloudy day, but still warm out.

*NASHS POV*

I was eating waffles then heard my phone go off.

I checked my phone, it was a text from Maddie.

Maddie: 'Do you want to go to the mall with me and Katie?'

Me: 'Ya, what time?'

Maddie: '12 bring Hayes. I'm sure Kate would like to see him haha'

Me: 'k. cya soon love you'

Oh gosh why did I say that. I saw that imessage was on, and she was replying.

I smiled.

Hayes asked me why I was smiling and I said 'Maddie'

I told Hayes to get ready.
