Chapter 3

*The next day*

I woke up to my alarm clock on my phone, and got out of bed.

I used the bathroom and brushed my teeth.

I went downstairs and my dad was loading the table, couch, boxes, well, everything into the truck.

I went upstairs to my room and opened my luggage and changed into some comfy clothes. I put on my gray nike sweatpants, with my white northface jacket and my white vans and put my hair in a messy bun.

I texted Hannah that we were packing and almost getting ready to leave.

I did many sports at my now 'old school' with Hannah. I was gonna miss my school.

I HATE moving to new schools. I'm afraid I wont fit in or I wont make any friends.

Hannah knocked on the door and barged in.

'Well, come in' I said and laughed

Me and Hannah helped carry the furniture into the truck.

An hour flew by wayyy to fast and we were ready to leave.

I gave Hannah the biggesttt hug ever.

I went back inside to take a last glance at our old house.

Maddie came down the stairs with her iPhone and earphones.

I guess I could listen to music on the FIVE hour drive.

I grabbed my earphones in my luggage and went in the truck.

As my dad started the van, Hannah, her brother Joey, her mom Teresa, and her dad Carson waved at us as we left.

My dad honked while we driving away.

It was 9:57 a.m. when we left.

30 minutes flew by and I fell asleep listening to Pandora, on Maddie's shoulder.

*3 Hours Later*

I woke up, and we were at this restroom break in the middle of nowhere.

I used the bathroom, while I was walking back I saw a vending machine.

I bought some barbeque chips. I love barbeque chips.

Maddie fell asleep and so did my mom.

I checked the time and it said. 2:46 p.m.

I looked outside of the window and read a sign that said

'Welcome To Mooresville North Carolina'

20 minutes flew by and we were outside of our new house.
