Chapter 1

As Dong-Gyun Middle school students rushed to the cafeteria, Yoon-hee finally finished packing all her things. At the door, Seungho and Hyojin were waiting for Yoon-hee.

"Let's go already. I'm starving." Seungho whined.

"Okay, we get it. Stop whining okay." Hyojin surrendered from the constant attack of Seungho's hungry stomach. Yoon-hee chuckled as Seungho's tummy began to roar louder and louder. Hyojin sighed at her small friend. "How can you already get hungry when it's only just the start of lunch?"

"I didn't have time to eat breakfast!" Seungho pouted. The two girls screamed as they saw their quiet friend be cute. The more they teased Seungho, the more she became annoyed.

Finally, they reached the cafeteria. With big dreams of the future, they recalled the memories of the past too. However, They could only laughed at Yoon-hee as she kept on devouring all of her food non-stop.

"Have you heard the news lately?" Seungho interrupted.

"Do you think I know?" Hyojin exclaimed, "You know very well that I don't know anything."

"You don't know? It's the one about Haekyon."

As Yoon-hee heard the words of Haekyon, her body immediately sprung up after dying from the loss of food around her. Shocked when they saw their friend's suspicious actions, a smirk grew on their faces.

"What's it about?" Yoon-hee asked with curiosity.

"Oh, it's nothing really." Seungho began to her plan tease to tease the naive Yoon-hee. However, she saw her evil friend's plan instantly. Hyojin wanted to run away from this battle but as a (forced) spectator, she couldn't escape the war.

"What about it?"

"Hyojin, how did you do the homework?"

"Don't ignore me!"

"Give me your cake."

"But...But..."

"I was just kidding; I'll tell you, okay? Please don't give me that look." Seungho said as she gave in from Yoon-hee's puppy eyes. Yoon-hee replied with a warmful hug. Hyojin laughed at Seungho's awkwardness. "Don't hug me either!"

"Okay..."

"Basically, there are rumours that the principle made some changes to the system."

"What kind of changes?" Yoon-hee asked worriedly. She was so worried that she was sweating. Hyojin lent her drink to Yoon-hee as she was preparing for the worst to befall on her.

"Apparently, It's becoming a 'Co-Ed' school." Seungho announced while she emphasised on the word 'co-ed'. Suddenly, Yoon-hee spitted all the water she was drinking; attacking Seungho in the process. Luckily, Seungho moved away at the right moment thanks to her fast reflexes.

"Really!" Yoon-hee asked in shock. In their history, they have never allowed girls in because of their strictness and focus on studies. Well, if you don't include the teaching jobs available for women.

"Next Semester, they are allowing girls to study there." As Seungho spoke, Hyojin's grin grew wider and wider. The lightbulb of ideas shone as her mischievous plans arose. Yoon-her grew distant from Hyojin as she was worried of what was about to happen.

"This a perfect time to confess." Hyojin announced loudly, making everyone look at her weirdly. She sat back down as her red blush grew heavier. She spoke it again but this time, quieter.

"What?" Yoon-hee asked confusingly.

"You could finally see Doha more often," Hyojin said but the second time, she spoke, she went towards Yoon-hee's ear and whispered, "And finally confess your love to Doha."
