Chapter 4

3rd Person's Pov

1 week later

Ding Dong

Hyojin and Seungho rang the door bell to Yoon-hee's aparment. It was a small apartment block and Yoon-hee's apartment was on the 4th floor. They had been there many times before and sometimes, they also met Doha there too since he would come home during holidays and his home was on the 5th floor.

Yoon-hee quickly walked to the door in her usual clothes: a hoodie and some pants. She always wore these type of clothes when her friends came because she didn't care about her clothes; they were really comfortable and warm too. She opened the door to see her two best friends with full backpacks.

Hyojin jumped onto Yoon-hee as she couldn't keep her happiness inside. But Seungho was the complete opposite. Yoon-hee was the neutral one in the group but their was times where she felt left out because she was normal. However, Hyojin and Seungho noticed her feelings and never made her feel left out ever again.

In their house, It was really quiet since Yoon-hee's dad was always at work and her mom was with Doha's mom. Their moms were really good friend thus Doha and Yoon-hee met each other thanks to their mams. But they got closer through DEF academy, It was also there where they met Yeong Rae and Changmin.

After the informal introductions, they began to study...

Time skip

3rd Person's Pov

1 week later.

"Come on, Hurry up." Hyojin said as they ran closer to the grounds of Haekyon National School of Education. As the three girls came closer, they saw how huge the school grounds were. Without a map, they would definitely get lost.

"Can't we stop for a bit." Yoon-hee complained while she tried to catch some air since she was out of breath. She was panting really hard as she bent down with her hands on her knees, trying to breath. She felt like she wanted to puke.

"But we are nearly there." Hyojin pointing at the school main building's entrance. They had different sections: The main section, which was in the middle of the grounds; The high school section, which is on the far left side of the grounds ; The middle school section, which on the left too but it was closer to the main gate; The university section which is in the far right side of the grounds and the dorms sections, which was on the left side of the grounds but near the main gate. The empty spaces in between them was filled with either a sports field, a resting area or smaller buildings like for clubs. You could tell how much investment and planning went into their development.

"It's not our fault that you eat so much." Seungho implied.

"Yah! Are u saying I'm fat?" Yoon-hee said as she finally can breath.

"No, you're not fat. We are just happy that you're eating well. But don't complain to us when it's your problem about your physical health."

"Let's go already." Hyojin interrupted. She was tired of them fighting and had the urge to explore. But whenever she was reminded of the main reason, why they were here, she got worried and scared of the possibility of her not making it.

After 3 trains and 30 minutes of walking, they finally arrived. Haekyon was located near the borders of Seoul. This is so no distractions could come to Haekyon but it was a few hours away from the residential area by car.

As the receptionist showed them the way, They were lead to a huge hall, that holded assemblies for all middle school, high school and university students. That must be really big to fit that many people and they would also have a whole ton of chairs. They saw thousands of girls filling up the main hall.

Like everyone, Yoon-hee was nervous. But chatter still filled the atmosphere. Yoon-hee couldn't handle the nervousness and couldn't think of anything until she saw a familiar figure.

She approached her, leaving her friends behind. This made her friends confused to why she approached this unknown girl. She called out her name:

"Yeong Rae, Unnie." Yoon-hee shouted as Yeong Rae turned around to see Yoon-hee.

"Yoon-hee, What are you doing here?" Yeong Rae asked the younger girl.

"I'm here to apply for Haekyon, just like you."

"I didn't expect you to be here."

"Me too. I never thought I would meet you here."

"I have to go, my friends are waiting for me. I'll see you later at DEF Academy?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Good luck. I hope you pass."

"Same goes for you too."

Yeong Rae gave Yoon-hee one big hug before they separated. Yoon-hee finally went back to her friends, explaining who Yeong Rae was. After she finished explaining, the loud chatter turned into quiet whispers when a handsome looking guy, near his 30's came on stage.

"Hello, ladies. I am Song Joong Ki, the chairman of Haekyon and the one, who made this change." Joong Ki spoke and everyone was silent. Everyone thought he was handsome and hot as he stood there smiling. "As you know, our school is famous for it's grades. We only accept people, who meet our standards so the exams will be hard. That's all, I hope you do well and the exams will take place in the rooms, where we do exams, in the main building. The staff, here will guide you the way to your room."

After Chairman Joong Ki left the stage, teachers began guiding students to their exam rooms. Hyojin, Seungho and Yoon-her got separated into different exam rooms. They decided to meet here after the exams were done.

Finally, all the students were in their respective exam rooms. The atmosphere was filled with silence and nervousness. The class that they were in was filled with the people the same age as them

The Haekyon teacher gave out the maths test first then he will give the rest of the 1o subjects tests later. The students were only had one hour for each test. Each and every test was in a university level but that was only for soon to be high school students.

It was finally time...
