Red's POV
When I finally began to awake I was blinded by the bright light of the blue sky, I heard a few voices and it felt like I was on something that was moving but other than that I had no idea what was going on.
"Aye, he's finally coming around." A voice said and three figures, a Spearow, an Accelgor, and an Excavaleir, loomed over me.
"Give him some air." Another voice barked, and they backed away. I began to float in the air and looked around, my vision began to clear. I noticed we were at sea on a boat, and then the memories from before that had all vanished returned to me.
"Shin-Obi, Militem, Jack. What happened?" I asked, Jack opened his mouth to speak but closed it.
"You destroyed Arcadia with that huge blast and sunk the ship later on, we barely made it out after spending so much time getting the humans off the ship." Shin-Obi explained.
"So what happened with the pirates and humans?" I inquired.
"Well they jumped onto me ship and me and my crew had to fight them off. Once we took out their guns they fought like scared little lasses!" Jack laughed.
"And Kut, is he really..." I trailed off and Militem nodded.
"Indeed, he did not return from the sea. We are going to Canalave city, there me and Shin-Obi are going to go on a journey of self discovery and wondering why we wasted our lives looking for a murderer." Militem said.
"So you guys will be going then? I wonder where I'll go."
"You can always join me and me crew!" Jack offered.
"Thanks for the offer, but I've had enough boats to last one lifetime. I think, I think I'm going to find my brother. I need to tell him what happened, but this time once I find him, I'm never leaving him again. I can't lose anyone else." I decided, staring at a few Wingull that flew past the ship.
"I understand. Good luck on findin yer brother, now I need to go make sure me crew isn't slackin off." Jack flew off, leaving just me and the two bug types on the deck.
"You know Kut died in a noble way, as a hero. I wish I could be as brave as him." Shin-Obi said in a comforting tone.
"Yeah, he always wanted to be a hero." I sighed, my voice breaking. "You two stay together and stay strong. Although you won't have that much trouble with the second one." I let out a side chuckle and Militem cracked a grin.
"I'm sure we'll stay together, can't be that hard now that we aren't fighting over getting somewhere!" Militem concluded. Shin-Obi nodded in agreement but said nothing.
One day later we arrived at Canalave city and said our goodbyes, Militem and Shin-Obi went north of Jubilife city while I went south. Before I went to find Rotom I was going to go to where I was created, my home, Professor Rowan's lab in Sandgem town.
I arrived at nighttime so there wasn't anyone out, I heard the crashing of waves from down by the shore, the kricketots playing their tunes from the rout to the east, and the swishing of grass in the wind.
I went inside the lab, which was empty. I went to a computer in the back of the lab and entered it, easily accessing it now that I was a part of it. From what I found out, Professor Rowan's assistant had taken over the lab, which was why the computer's memory wasn't wiped.
I found a group of letters to and from Arcadia, skimming over them I saw most of them were apart of Arcadia's lies to Rowan however one was password protected. I easily got through and read the email.
"Dear Professor Rowan, it has come to my attention that you have passed on and well, I can't say I'm happy about that. I wish you had trusted me enough to send me data on your Rotom, however I do regret my actions. After seeing Control in person I must say, I finally realize what I did was truly wrong.
