I had never been one to run away. Before I was a witch I would either talk or fight my way out of a situation I was uncomfortable with.

This reminded me of the first time I had met Derek.

"Hey, im Derek"
A guy, out of no where just said.I turned to see a tall, tanned boy who had jet black, spiked hair and a pearly white smile.

"Hey, i dont care"
Rowan replied, even though it was an absolute lie,while she hurried to the exit of school.

"I just wanted to say, i like your outfit-"
He said quickly walking behind her and soon catching up to walk along side her.

"Well if you like black shirts with black shorts, a bra and some black-heeled boots, you should try it sometime... though i don't think that would suit you... so are we done here?"
She said as she kept walking, not looking up from her phone .

"No,actually i wanted to give you back your top"

"Dude, im wearing my to-"
Rowan slowed down realising her flannel wasn't tied off at her waist like it always was. Her flannel meant the world to her as it had belonged to her mother when she was her age.

"This is the best excuse i had to come up and talk to you... so i kind of took it"
She heard Derek say as she turned around and stood still once she realised she was talking to one of the most popular guys in school...

"Talk to me? Why the hell would you want to talk to me? When theres like any other girl you can talk to... And why where you in a forest?- wait! No, don't answer that... i don't wanna know"

He smiled, pearly white teeth reflecting the light, she wanted to smile back... but it wasn't the time to be making friends.

She grabbed the flannel out of his hands and continued to walk in the same direction as before.

"Wait! Talk to you later then?!" He stood there hoping for an answer.

Sorry for the short chapter but I wanted to get how the first met known to u guys.

Me and my best friend are writing a book but we're are kind of doing it differently.

We both have characters Rowan(me) and Noah(her). We are writing from there prospectives but both of the story's will be connected. Noah is going to be with stiles and rowan, well we'll see if Derek deserves to be trusted again.

If you guys want more short little back story's please tell me so and I hope you have enjoyed.
