I woke up the next morning wrapped in Ethan's arms, and I was happy. Sun was streaming in through my window, and it illuminated my green room. I sighed in content and snuggled deeper into Ethan's chest. This is how every morning should be. Waking up next to someone you love. Is this how Mom and Dad felt?

Suddenly I felt Ethan begin to stir and I was sad because I knew he was going to have to leave when he woke. Thankfully, he was only adjusting his position and settled back into slumber. I relaxed and closed my eyes to go back to sleep.

My door slammed open and I lightly jumped. Suddenly I was being squished into my mattress and I groaned. Ethan did the same.

"Morning guys! I didn't know we were having a sleep over at Rocky's house. I wish I was invited." I recognized Grayson's voice. I was happy he didn't misinterpret this and get angry. I felt nothing but friendship for Ethan, and I couldn't describe the feelings I felt for Grayson.

"You weren't invited because you smell bad," Ethan grumbled.

I giggled. Grayson actually smelled really good. He smelled like cologne and mint; not bad at all.

"I woke up with no brother, I had to see where he went, " Gray defended himself.

You smell the exact opposite of bad, I wanted to say. I decided against it because I didn't know how he felt about me, also that's just awkward. For everyone.

"So does someone want to tell me why you spent the night here and not in their own bed?" Gray asked, a certain tightness to his voice.

"Ask Rocky. It's her story to tell," Ethan said.

I wanted to kick him for putting the spotlight on me, but I didn't. It wouldn't be a very nice thing to do, also because he had a point. I couldn't hold in the groan that came from my throat.

"Rocky?" Gray asked.

I opened my eyes, only to meet his, and I saw nothing but concern and worry in them. His eyes were more green today, but with little flecks of brown. My breath caught in my throat, and I couldn't help but look down at his lips. They looked so kissable, so soft too. I wanted to kiss them so bad, but instead I pressed my face into my pillow and groaned again. Thinking was becoming difficult around him.

"I had a nightmare," I grumbled.

"About what?" He pressed.

"About the reason why I moved here," I replied.

"Why didn't you ask me to come over?" His voice sounded hurt, and my heart squeezed.

"I needed to think clearly," I said.

"Think clearly?" He questioned, and I felt his head rest on my chest. I think I had breathing problems, or I stopped breathing all together. It felt good to have him laying here, have him laying on top of me. Just relaxing, acting like a couple.

I took a deep, calming breath, and completely changed the subject. I looked up at Ethan to see him already looking down at me. I gave him a bright smile. "Morning sleepy head! What are we doing today? You mentioned something last night about it."

"I was thinking about heading to the park to go play on the equipment," he said, rubbing his eyes.

"Really?" I giggled.

"Yes," he said in all seriousness.

"Alright then, I'll go get ready. You go get ready too," I ordered and began to look through my closet.
