"Choose who dies."said the woman
"What!"cried Alec
Lily, Matt, and Ashley were crying.
Alec just sat there watching them cry. He couldn't choose. Matt was his first friend. He was like his brother from another mother. If he died he'd be losing his best friend. And Matt had 3 little brothers that looked up to him. He could only imagine what it would be like for them. Then Alec thought about the football team. They would lose their star quarterback if he died. If Lily died he would lose what made school fun. They always joked around and had lots of fun together. If she died School wouldn't be fun anymore for most people. She alwayd knew how to make everyone happy. Then there was Ashley. Ashley was just Ashley. She meant everything to Alec. She was the feeling in his life and she was the inspiration. She was the one who brought meaning to his life. It was an impossible decission. His next move was stupid.
"Choose for me."Alec said
The man and woman lauged. He looked away and heard a gunshot through the tablet.
"Let me go"said Alec
"No. You didn't play the game."replied the son
"How!"
"You had to choose."
Alec began to cry. The agony of not knowing who it was was getting to him. But in his tears is when he got the idea.
