Screaming arupted from the neighbors house.
"Whats that all about?"asked Ashley
"Just the neighbors"
Alec had forgotten about the rule. He threw his football into the yard to get their attention.
"Why did you do that. You can't be out now. You need to be punished. NEED TO BE. I will now pop this football. Alec's heart froze. His Grandfather had given it to him when he was little. His grandfather was his idol. Him passing a year earlier had really upset Alec.
"NO YOU WON'T!" Screamed alec with tears in his eyes.
"NO YOU WON'T!!!" he screamed even louder to insure they heard. Ashley put her hand on his shoulder.
"Are you ok?"
Alec was shaking at this point.
"Go inside I'll be right back."
Ashley ran inside and told him to get her if he needed help. He climbed up on the toy chest and hopped over the fence.
When he landed he felt a sharp pain in his shin.
"Aaah" he moaned
He had landed right on spike. Alec noticed they were scattered all around the neighbors yard. He made sure he didn't step on a single spike. When he got to the door it was locked. He ripped up a spike from the ground and picked the lock. He walked into the house.
