When He Said I Do

Chapter 9

Sorry for the late chapter guy but I've kind of had writers block! I don't know when the next chapter will come out but comment and stuff to tell what you want to/think might happen! Thanks my lovelies!

KARA'S POV

Before I know it my testimony is almost over. After I get off of the stand I can't believe what happens next. I walk off and then see a security guard coming up to me with handcuffs in his hand. He tells me to turn around, and I do so, but not without telling them about somebody I think might be hte murderer.

I yell out "wait, I think there's somebody else that might be it!"

I then start to tell them about my affair with Cynthia and how she thought that Jerry was horrible to me. I just couldn't keep it from the love of my life, and that's when I saw her run out of the room.

The security guards then ran after her with all they had, but I knew they would never catch her. She would always be faster than them. She had run track when she was in college and was a long distance sprinter. She could run the 2 mile run within 3 to 4 minutes.

After their chase attempt they came back to me and I told then her address although I don't think that she's going to be there. This isn't the first time she's had to hide from the law.

The first time was a bad event. She had to go to jail after she was convicted for the theft of 10 jewelry stores around the state. It took the authorities 5 years to find her after they found out who it was.

I did not approve of her past, but it was her past. It was all behind us now. She was a great person and I envied that about her. She took care of me, other than when I was with Jerry she still loved me. Although, she did hate Jerry for everything he did to me. I just feel bad that I couldn't protect her now.

I always knew that she still hadn't let go of her criminal past, but with today and my thoughts, I don't think it would ever work between us anymore.

I would love to know that it wasn't her, but I had always had my suspicions since the case had started. I really hope that it wasn't her! I would feel so bad for putting her though all of this without it really being her.

Throughout all of the things she's done, she's still a good woman.
