Chapter 11

Macie's POV

We were sitting at the airport. All of us. Tj and I were flying back to Georgia leaving our new found friends behind. We were all silent on the way here and we still are. No one wants to say goodbye.

'Flight 236 to Savannah Georgia boarding in 10 minutes'

I looked at everyone. The all wore the same sad frown.

"We will see you guys soon. I promise." I said breaking the silence.

"Yea. We will be back before you know it! Not to mention we have playlist live soon." Tj added.

"It's still too long." Sam said.

"Yea but hey, I will talk to you guys everyday. I promise." I said.

"Those promises always end up being broken." Kian said sadly.

"Mine don't."

Jc still hasn't said anything. I know when we have to say goodbye I'll cry. Too much.

'Flight 236 to Savannah Georgia boarding in 5 minutes.'

Fuck. I look at him. His eyes are filled with tears. Any minute now they will spill over. I don't think I can handle that.

"I'm going to miss you guys. I won't know what to do without you. It's going to be boring back home with nothing to do and no one to make me laugh every day."

That must have jerked their tears because they all let go. Everyone is crying. Especially me.

"Macie."

Jc said.

"Yeah?"

"Promise to talk to me everyday. Promise to not give up on what we have. Promise me you won't forget about me. Our times together. Our memories. Promise me, that you'll come back real soon."

I cried even harder.

"I promise."

He took a hold of my hips and brought me towards him. Our lips met and nothing mattered. Not the fact that we were leaving. Not the fact that I wouldn't see them for a while. Nothing. If everyday could be like this I wouldn't mind. I'd stay here forever.

'Flight 236 to Savannah Georgia now boarding.'

I went to each of the guys and said my goodbyes. I'd miss these goofs tons. We had a final group hug then Tj and I walked toward the gate. Goodbye California. You've been good.

We went through security and made our way onto the plane. I had my teddy bear in tow. I would sleep with it every night until I saw Jc again.

"You gonna be okay Mae?"

"Yea. I'll be fine."

The sign flashed for us to put on our seatbelts and before I knew it we were headed down the runway. Leaving everything.

I opened my purse to get out my headphones. A note fell out. It was written in Jc's handwriting and my name was on the front. I opened it and read

Dear Macie,

By now you're probably on the plane. I tried my best to sneak this note so maybe you won't find it before you leave. I just wanted to tell you that you are amazing. You make my heart skip a beat every time I see you. Your laugh warms my heart. Seeing you blush because of something I said makes me feel like the luckiest guy in the world. You're such a genuinely nice all around girl and I love that about you. You've gone through so much and yet you still smile everyday. I don't know how you do it. You are such a strong person and you inspire me to be a better person everyday.

The first time we kissed, I felt something. A spark. Something I've never felt with anyone. It was just like how those chick flicks explain it. Like it's just you and me. Like nothing else matters. Just us. It felt right. Like it was suppose to happen. Like we were meant to be. It's only been a couple of days but I want you to know I have strong feelings for you. Everyday they get stronger. I hope you feel the same way too.

I hope you consider moving. I don't think I could live without you in my life. Not to mention the guys will miss you too. Let me know as soon as you get off the plane so I know you're safe. Tell Tj I said be good and not to pick up any strange men while he's home.

I wiped my tears. Tj smiled at me.

"He means those things you know. I don't think he would tell you otherwise."

"How do you know what it's about?"

"He told me."

"Oh."

"I really would like to move. It's amazing there."

"Me too. Me too."

We dropped the conversation at that.

I put in my headphones and turned on Hoodie Allen. After one song I drifted off to sleep.
