I keep making a bunch of typo's as I text Hunter back because I am so excited! "Hey Hunter! You didn't wake me! I just got up. I'm getting relaxed for tonight's game! I'll try to rock that Clarinet, if possible! Haha! I'm glad you can talk now because rehearsal is at 1:00 today and it's Pride Parent//Family day so there will be a lot of people here today. You said you were getting on a plane later. Where are you going? And I miss you too!" I type frantically, so excited to actually talk to him! A few seconds later, Hunter's face is backk on my phone and the text this time says "Can I call you?"

I reply, "YES!!!!!" So I dash into the kitchen so I don't wake Melanie when I talk to Hunter. I pick up the phone as it rings and answer with "Hunter! Oh my gosh! I miss you so much!" I hear his sweet and adorable voice filled with laughter flow through the phone and into my ear as he says "Michaela! I've missed you so much! You asked where I'm going and I honestly have no idea. The boys won't tell me." I hear him hold back a chuckle as he speaks. Is Hunter hiding something from me?

I push that thought aside as I say "Well, that sucks that they won't tell you where you're going." as I almost choke while trying to hold back tears. I don't want Hunter to know I'm crying, but I bet he can tell because he knows me so well.

"Yeah, it sucks," Hunter says back to me, "And what's wrong Michaela? I can tell you're about to cry. Please don't. Whoever made you cry I will hunt them down and hurt them," Hunter says to me. I start to giggle as  I say "OK, only if you wanna hurt yourself."

He gasps in shock, "Me?! How did I make you wanna cry?"

"Because you're gone and I miss my best friend." I reply, my voice still breaking while I'm trying to fight those tears from falling.

"Don't cry, Mich, please. Don't cry, Mich." Hunter tells me sweetly, as if he were right there with me. Mich. He called me MIch. That was his nickname for me growing up. I promised him I'd stop crying then we had to hang up because he had a band meeting, but he could still text because Matt was running the meeting.

Before we knew it, it had been four hours and Hunter was boarding the plane to who knows where. It's almost time for me to go to rehearsal so I fix myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch. I can't wait for the game tonight!
