~Hold On Tight Chapter 5
Michaela's POV~
We played the fight song again, but with Hunter as our director this time. He looked so cute up there in the Crimson and Creme, which are OU's colors, director's uniform. I love how on the solid, Crimson back "Hayes" was printed in Creme. The uniform's colors just made his uniquely colored greenish/blue/gray eyes pop and sparkle.
As Hunter starts to direct, a smile from ear to ear shows up on his face that only appears when he's on stage. He loves music with everything he has and doesn't let anything get in the way of his music. I started to notice that I get butterflies when I look at Hunter and I can't help but smile whenever I think about him. He just makes me feel so good inside. I'm not falling for him, am I? He's my best friend! I can't be falling for him. It would ruin everything we've ever had. I can't be doing this!

Hunter's POV~
As I shook the director's hand, I couldn't let go quick enough so I could go tackle Michaela with a hug. After I find Michaela, I run towards her to give her a hug. I've missed her so much from the way her eyes sparkle and occasionally change from a chocolate brown, to a light green, to a coffee brown with a tint of green to them to her smile. Right now, the Crimson in her uniform is bringing out the green in her eyes, making her even prettier, if that's humanly possible. She is always wearing makeup and I have seriously have no clue why. Why does she feel the need to hide perfectness? I have explained this to her, but she doesn't listen to me. When I notice she's wearing black war paint under her eyes, I find it extremely adorable, as I hug her.
I don't want to let go of her so I can go direct even though I have to. I hope she can't tell. I don't want her thinking that I like her. This would ruin our friendship. Do I like Michaela though? What am I feeling? I haven't ever felt this way around her. Ok, yes I have, but not to this level. Why is this happening now?
