♡ Chapter Eight; After Fight.♡
Okay, so punching Adam wasn’t the brightest idea I had since forever. But it’s wasn’t my fault, that guy pissed me off, and I hated how stubborn he was. If I said ‘yes’ he would get angry, and if I said ‘no’ he would let his cat chase me.
Seriously?
And now because of him, I was standing right in front of the Principal with that idiot beside me, trying to find a way to get out of this trouble.
Mr. John was one of these people that you can’t take seriously. I was ready to burst out laughing, but every time I was going to, he would shoot me a glare.
“So you actually punched him because he called you what? Pathetic?” I gritted my teeth together, it was the fifth time he asked me this question. I nodded my head forcefully. “And then he tried to hit you, right?” I nodded once again.
It was funny how a punch could change the situation, because when I punched Adam, he grabbed me by my shirt’s collar and raised his fist to hit me, but luckily the Principal barged in, looking at us ridiculously.
He sighed. “Jodie, how many times did I tell you not to pick a fight?” He raised an eyebrow, and I felt like I was a little kid all over again. I let out an annoyed scoff.
“Are you serious, now? He was the one who started all of this, I was just trying to talk normally about the project and then he came out of nowhere, grabbing the-“ Mr. John raised a hand, stopping me. I shut up, and back away, leaning my back on the chair.
“I will let you go now, but this is a warning, do it again, and I swear I will give you a detention for a whole month.” He warned, giving me a stern look, I shrugged, and stood up.
Adam hadn’t opened his mouth at all since we got to Mr. John’s office. And I didn’t even glance his way as I grabbed my bag, and got out. I was really angry, and the laughter inside of me died. When I stole a glance at myself in the office’s glasses, my face was as red as it could be.
That freaky annoying guy.
“Hey, Jodie wait.” I heard someone shouting, and I turned around, finding Adam running after me with his bag placed nicely on his back.
I narrowed my eyes. “What?” I snapped. He stopped right in front of me, and looked me in the eyes. There was no expression, nothing in his eyes, but my reflection, making me feel a little crept out.
He didn’t say anything for a while, but then he sighed. “Sorry.” He scratched his neck, looking away. I didn’t know what he expected from me, but I threw my arms in the air, looking at him as if he said the stupidest thing ever.
“No,” I shouted, raising my finger at him. “Apology is not accepted, oh and this time? Please accept that.” I smiled fakely before turning around, leaving him standing.
I only took a few steps before I felt something land on my back, making me fall on the ground, clenching my head in one of my hands, and the other one was supporting my weight on the ground. I looked around to know what hit me, and I found a familiar bag laying there.
