♡ Chapter Forty-Three; Caught in the Trap. ♡
Adam had been throwing a lot of glances toward my way today. He would pass me by every now and then, and watch me from a far.
He was taking being ‘creepy’ to another level.
Seriously what was he doing?
“He is staring at you again.” Anna said as she took a mouthful spoon of her salad. She winks at me and then look back at Adam.
“Well, you are staring at him too.” I shrugged my shoulders, acting as if I didn’t care. But honestly, I did care.
And what makes it worse, I couldn’t just act as if I didn’t know why he was doing all that. I clearly heard his confession on the rooftop and here was I, acting as if I never heard it.
I just didn’t want to complicate things.
Adam was the first guy that didn’t run away from me. Sure, there was some cute guys before who asked me out, saying that they thought I was cute, but just as I opened my mouth and told them to fuck off they ran away and never came back.
It did feel good to have someone know everything about you and accept all of it, but then again I had this stupid part of me yelling at me saying that I was being totally stupid.
To tell the truth, I did feel attracted to Adam. He was really handsome and he was really nice guy, even if get angry really fast. He was sometimes annoying, like the time when he gave me his sister to ‘take care’ of her as if I worked to him.
Suddenly, I realized something and I quickly shook my head.
With the fuck was I doing counting his good and bad properties.
I stood up angrily startling Anna, and stomped off furiously toward nowhere. Before I knew it I was in front of an empty class that no one used anymore. I started kicking old chairs to calm myself.
I was peeving. I was about to explode with anger.
Was I turning into a lovesick puppy just because he said he loved me?
So what?
He might have been drunk too.
He wasn’t in his right mind.
Actually, he was never in his right mind to begin with.
“I feel bad for these chairs.” I heard the voice of the guy I didn’t want to see right now. I turned around with a glare.
“It’s none of your business.”
“What got your panties twisted?” I raised my eyebrow at his words. Then I scoffed.
