Chapter Seven

Frankie is all healed after two days, so he decides to help me find out where Pandora is staying and now I know her scent I can follow it to her, it takes me time to find the right path, she has been all over the woods and her scent was everywhere, but I finally pick up on a strong scent of her and we follow it, it was harder to follow scents in human form.

We are lead to the South West part of the forest, where there was some cabins that could you rent. I look at Frankie "you like to make things difficult" he says I laugh giving him a nod "do you have her number?" he asks I look at him "no she still hasn't texted me" I say and he laughs hard "oh gosh that's amazing, dude I think she doesn't even like you" he says, that didn't make me feel any better thanks Frankie.

I look at the four cabins side by side and close my eyes to sniff, my eyes go to Cabin number 2, "you think it's safe to cross just to knock on her door?" I ask he stares at me I shouldn't have asked I know it's not, it's crossing over the boundary line I hate being joined in middle by our enemies.

Frankie sighs and I see a smirk creep on his lips "Pandora, where art thou, Pandora?" he shouts, I slap him and we both hide behind a tree "oh wow that was just amazing" Will says sneaking behind us "hello?" I hear her voice, I peak out and see her stood in the doorway, I come from behind the tree pretending that I was just walked I look at her "hey" she says weakly.

I smile at her "hey" I say back as Will and Frankie come out from behind the tree "umm this is Frankie and this is Will, guys this is Pandora" I say she waves then looks behind the door "dad I'm just going to see where's the best place to draw around here" she says and comes out closing the door, she walks over to us cautiously "what you doing here?" she asks "we live around here" I state "was that your house?" she asks I shake my head "that's just shelter" I explain.

Will looks at Pandora "you're tiny" he says he looks at him "thanks? And you're a giant" I see a smirk come on his face I elbow him shaking my head slightly telling him not to say what he was going to say, he sighs "you wanna come for a walk with us?" I ask her she looks at the guys and nods as we start walking, she looks at Frankie "so I'm guessing you're my Juliet?" she says and he laughs "always and forever, Romeo" he says back.

I look at Pandora, the boys walk ahead "why did you kiss me?" I ask her, she looks down and I could pink rise in her cheeks "by the way, your dad had a word with me" I say causing her head to shoot up-she looks embarrassed and nervous "why didn't you tell me you were underage?" I ask, she breathes "I'm sorry, there's nothing wrong we only kissed" she said "but it could easily go further" I stated "I didn't think I'm sorry" she says.

"How long you staying for?" I ask her she shrugs "until my dad gets bored I guess" she says "oh, well if you are still here for my birthday you wanna come to my get together?" I ask "don't you mean party?" she asks confused I shake my head "no we are having a get together then it's a boys only party" I state she smirks at me "I'm glad I'm not invited to that then, boys acting like girls are a piece of meat is sick" she said I laugh "anyway I would love to if I'm still here" she said.

Pandora links my arm "hey Pandora?" Frankie says stopping "I heard Macho gave you his number?" he said she looked at me and mouthed 'Macho?' I shake my head telling her to just forget it but she laughs then looks back at Frankie "yeah" she says "why haven't you used it?" he asks my eyes widen at him "I...umm..." she looks at me "ignore him" I say.

Oh no-I know where the lads are leading us, back to my place. They stop at my door "Layton, key?" Will says I shake my head "come on, guys I'm sure, Pandora doesn't want to get stuck inside a cabin with 3 men" I say and they look at her then at me "4..Damien is coming he wants to meet your im...Pandora" Will corrects himself, Pandora looks at me "and how would that look a teenage inside a cabin with a 21 year old, 22 years old, 29 year old and 27 year old all men?" I raise an eyebrow at them "we could always say Will is her dad" Frankie says "or you" Will smirks at me.

Pandora looks at them then back at me "who has the key I will open the door?!" she says I look at her "I'm freezing" she states I laugh and grab the key out my pocket and throw it at Will as Damien comes over "I brought extras" he says showing us beer "and I guess I had to bring these" he states rolling his eyes jokingly pointing with his thumb to their imprintees, I smile at him.

We walk inside "Pandora this is Kali she is Frankie's fiancée, this is Ava she is Will's girlfriend and this is Damien and Hailey they are engaged and guys this is Pandora" I introduce once we are in the house, I hear a bark I look at Kali who smiles at me and I open the door to let their dog in "and this Shepherd, Kali and Frankie's dog" I tell Pandora who smiles looking at the dog "do you have any pets?" Kali asks her she nods "two dogs; Rover and Minx. Rover is a golden lab and Minx is a labradoodle. I have been asking my dad for either a husky or a malamute though" she says.

I look at Pandora "is that because of your wolf fascination?" I ask her trying to make conversation she nods "yeah, I like how Shepherd looks the double of a wolf, that's what I want" she says she looks at Frankie and Kali "do you guys love Wolves too?" she asks gesturing to the dog they both nod "oh yeah wolves run in my family" Frankie said we all stare at him but Pandora nods smiling thinking he means the fascination of them, thankfully.

We sit there for a bit; Will, Ava, Damien and Hailey were sat on the couch, Kali was sat on Frankie's knee on the chair and Pandora, Shepherd and I were sat on the floor in front of the couch.

I look at Pandora thinking "you had any more run-ins with wolves?" I ask she nods looking at me smiling while everyone else looks at me nervously "yesterday night I saw the wolf that I shot the poor baby was limping and I'm sure crying" I look at Frankie who looks away I look back at Pandora "and then 2 days ago, I broke up a wolf fight there were 5 wolves" she says they all look at me knowing I was involved in that one.

Will taps her shoulder "brave girl" she laughs "I shot one and the others-minus one-ran away" she stated and they all stare at me confused, they were making this obvious, Pandora puts her hand on my leg excited "the one that stayed behind was the cute one I was telling you about before I actually saw it properly and it must be owned by someone cause it's definitely clean and groomed and it just laid there letting me stroke it and guess what?!" she started jumping up and down smiling, I smile at her "what?" she squealed a little "he hugged me before he left" she said everyone shook their heads at me.

She got off the floor, and pulled something out of her pocket and hand it to me. It was a folded up piece of paper, I unfolded it too see the drawing of me in my wolf form that I laid for the other day, I smile at her "it's not finished yet it needs more touches like the fur and that but I just wanted to stroke it more than draw it" she said "it's great" I tell her which makes her smile causing me to get lost just staring at her.

I see Pandora looking at the room with her eyes, she looks at my bookshelf and gets up to look closer "something tells me you have a fascination or obsession with wolves too" she states I got the wolf books when I first phased to find out more about what I was, I get up and go over to her "like you said there's a lot of wolves in these woods I wanted to know more about them" I say to her she nods he looks at me "you do not look like type of guy that reads pride and prejudice" she states I laugh "guilty as charged, I've actually only read half it, it was my sister's book" I said, "where is your sister?" she asks I look at my books "she passed away a couple years ago now" I say she looks at me "I'm so sorry, Layton" I shake my head.

"umm... it's getting a little late we better be heading back" Kali said and everyone agree, Pandora looked at them all "yeah me too" she said "I will walk you back, I don't want you going alone" I said to her "make sure you text him" Frankie laughed as he left.

Pandora grabs her jacket and then we head for the door, my mind completely on my sister and her death.
