Dan

I sadly sighed as Phil rang who he needed to ring to push the wedding back one more day. I didn't want to wait any longer to get married, but if Taylor is sick or something, I don't want to push a wedding on her. I didn't know if she fainted from nervousness, sickness, or whatever else she could've fainted from, and it was tearing me up not knowing if she was okay or not. Ten minutes after the incident had happened (and Taylor had woken up), Emma and Lily took Taylor to the hospital and left Phil and I behind in order to make the appropriate arrangements to push the wedding back. I had not heard anything from either of them, so I didn't know what was going on.

"...okay, thank you. We'll call back if everything turns out to be okay to have the wedding today," Phil said as he hung up.

"Is everything worked out?" I asked.

"I told him that we didn't know what was going on, and he said that if we call back within an hour, it will still be possible to have it today."

I sighed. "I hope we can have it today. I've been really looking forward to this day ever since I first laid eyes on Taylor."

"I know, Dan. That's why I hoped that everything went right today, but I guess it didn't."

Suddenly, my phone started ringing loudly. Phil tossed it to me, causing me to exclaim, "Be careful with my phone!"

"Sorry!"

I shook my head as I answered the phone. "Hey, what's up?"

"Taylor's okay," Lily said. "We're coming back right now."

I sighed in relief. "Oh, thank god."

"Yeah, the doctors saw nothing wrong with her."

"Okay. Well, see you soon, I guess. Bye."

I hung up to immediately have Phil ask me, "Is she okay?"

I nodded. "They're coming back right now."

"Okay, so I'll call the guy back right now."

Lily

"Taylor, are you excited?" one of Taylor's friends asked (I couldn't be bothered to get names).

She happily sighed. "Yeah. I'm marrying the man that I love, Sel, so of course I'm excited."

"Just checking."

Emma came in the room. "It's almost time!"

Taylor stood up. "I'm ready. Are we lining up yet?"

"Yes. In fact, your father is waiting."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

"Now for the vows," the pastor said. "Dan, you first."

He took a deep breath. "Taylor, I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. You are my world, and I would give anything up for you. When we first met, I was a socially awkward person to you, but now, here we are, getting married. I love you with all my heart, soul, and strength. I vow to never leave your side, even when times get tough."

"Taylor."

She happily sighed. "Dan, when we first met, I couldn't help but notice how attractive you were to me, and the fact that you actually came with three screaming Swifties was something not a lot of people would do. I knew for a fact that you would be a keeper. You may be someone who sits in their bedroom and talks to a camera, but that just makes you, well, you. I love you to infinity and beyond, and I vow to never ever leave your side."

I quietly squealed at the cuteness, almost dropping the camera I was holding. Emma quietly snickered at my antics as the wedding went on. We somehow remained silent until Dan was told he could kiss the bride. After they kissed and started coming back down the aisle, I almost jumped out of my seat to walk with them, but Emma held me back from doing so. As soon as I could, I got out of my seat and went after them. I jumped into a group hug with them, producing a lot of comments of how cute of a family we were.

I ended the hug. "When are we doing pictures?"

"Right now, I believe," Taylor answered.

"Okay, cool."

The photographers lined us up outside and took pictures, sometimes asking us to do poses. When we finished up with photos, we talked to some friends before getting in a limo to take us to the reception, talking about random things on the way. When we got there, we had our grand entrances before dinner was served.

"Ricky, why is your hair rainbow-colored?!" I asked Ricky in shock as I touched his hair.

He chuckled. "I dunno exactly. Just something different, I guess...?"

I smiled and retracted my hand. "Different is good, but my question now is who was willing to do that?"

"It was Gabbie."

"I should've known it would be Gabbie."

Suddenly, I heard someone saying my name. I turned to face Taylor, who said, "Some of my friends would like to meet you, Lily."

"Okay, I'm coming."

I excused myself from my current conversation to follow Taylor to where some of her friends were hanging out near the dance floor, having friendly banter amongst themselves until we came over.

"Hey, guys, this is my adoptive-daughter-through-marriage I was talking about," Taylor said to introduce me.

I waved politely. "Hi, guys!"

The one with short, black hair spoke first, saying, "Hello, Lily. My name's Selena."

Another with blond hair said, "Hello, I'm Karlie."

The third with her hair pulled back in a bun said, "Nice to meet you, Lily. I'm Gigi."

I noticed their expressions of mild distaste, but ignored it and replied, "It's nice to meet you guys, too. You know, it's such an honor to have the parents I have."

"I can only imagine," Karlie said.

We had some friendly conversation before Emma dragged me off to the dance floor as All The Way blasted through the speakers. When they thought I was out of earshot, Selena, Karlie, and Gigi made some rude comments about me and my form, making me self-conscious about how I looked. I acted like I heard nothing and tried to enjoy the rest of the night, but those comments stuck in the back of my mind.

Was I really what they said?
