After a few minutes of working, we are finally finished. I rested my self a bit and I saw some guitars hanging on the wall.
"Do you play guitar? " I ask Shawn. I walk towards his guitar and slide my fingers on the strings.
"Yes, I taught myself to play it on youtube" he added.
He grab his guitar then he rest it on his lap and he started playing.
"By yourself? Wow, i wish I can teach myself on how to play guitar" I said.
"Do you want me to teach youhow to play? "He ask me.
I nod shyly and he gives me his guitar then I rest his guitar on my lap.
"So ill teach you the basic chords first, this is Am" then he placed my fingers on every strings. He showed me a lot of chords and he also teached me some strumming patterns.
"Your a fast learner!"Shawn was impressed and I smiled.
I play a little and I started singing.
"I like your voice, its amazing! " Shawn told me and I blush.
"yeah, I started singing when I was 6 years old"
"Well, I sing also! " he told me and I handed him his guitar.
"Really? I never knew your singing" I told him and he smiled at me. I swear he has the cutest smile I've ever seen!
"Well to be honest I have a vine account. I post my covers there you can watch it if you want" He told me.
"Soo how many followers do you have? "
"A thousand" so thats why he's one of the popular students in school. He started singing Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran. He has a great voice! I think his voice is better than mine.
*Vibrates*
I feel a vibrate on my pocket and I unlock my phone. I saw Lauren's text, i tapped the messages and read his text.
L: Hows your project? Anyways mom and dad are here.
C:It was fine tho, Im coming home rn
I locked the phone and Shawn stopped playing.
"Is there something wrong?" Shawn asked me a little worried
"Uhmm no, I just need to go home now. I think my parents is looking for me" I told him and he nods
We reached the front door and I started talking.
"I'll walk myself home"
"No, ill drive you home its pretty dangerous" I sigh and accepted his offer. We went outside and hopped in to Shawn's jeep.
A min. passed, Shawn started talking.
"So how was your life going?" he said. I remember when Austin cheated on me, should I tell him or not?
"Uhh not okay last 2 weeks to be honest" Shawn quickly looked at me, I think he's worried.
"Why? " "Ohh, I shouldn't meddle im sorry" he added and focused back on the road.
"Its okay Shawn" My eyes began to water, I still can't forget about what Austin did to me. I wiped my tears away and Shawn sees it.
He stopped the car and he looked at me.
"Camila, are you okay?" I nod yes and i sob a little then I cry. Oh no not again Camila!
"Hey, I know your not okay just please tell me, whats wrong?" Shawn asks and he hugged me. I didnt respond.
"Camila its okay just tell me" he said and he rubs his hand on my back. I decided to tell Shawn about what happend.
"I cant foget about what my fiance did to me. I tried to move on but I cant" I said while looking on my lap.
Shawn lifts my chin up and Im already looking at him.
"Camila, dont be sad im here! " he told me and tucked my hair behind my ear then I give him a confuse look.
"I-I mean, im here to help you" I nod and he kissed my forehead then he continued to drive me home.
I lay my head on the window and I close my eyes for a bit.
Shawn's POV
I really mean what I said to Camila. I mean i can treat her better than Austin. I think im starting to like her.
Few minutes of driving and we're finally at Camila's house.
"Camila we're here! "I whisper and I saw her sleeping. I guess I'll carry her inside.
I unbuckle my seatbelt and also Camila's seat belt. I carefully carry her inside her house.
I knocked on the door then it opens. I think it's her father who opened it.
"You must be Shawn? "the man asked
"Yes sir, I take your daughter home and she fell asleep" I told him
"Oh, take her in" I nod and put her carefully on the couch.
"Thank you Shawn for driving Camila here, oh by the way Im Alejandro, Camila's father" he said
"No problem Mr. Cabello, uhmm I'll go now"
"Take care Shawn! " Mr. Cabello said.
I walked outside and went in to my car. I start the car and a minute later I hear a phone ringing. I grabbed my phone but its not ringing. I looked at the passenger seat and I saw Camila's phone there. Shit! I didnt noticed her phone was here. I decided to bring her phone back tomorrow 'cause its late.
Im finally home. I went upstairs and unlocked Camila's phone but it has password in it. I tried to guess it but I still cant get the right password. I give up and think about what happened today.
Will Camila like me back? Does she feel the same way? Or is it just me and my imagination? 🙋
