Chapter 13

Camila's POV
"So how was the  kiss? " Hailey excitedly said from the other side of the phone.

"Well, it was great! " i answered

"That's it? " Jade screamed

"Well yeah, i mean, its just like when I kissed Austin but Shawn's kiss was better" i explained

Minuites passed, our conversation ends. Well it's time for bed. Also I feel exhausted this day so I needed some rest.

* 2 Days Later*

I wake up realizing that its been 2 days since our first date. I haven't received any text or calls from Shawn. Why? Is he avoiding me? Or is it about the kiss?

Words kept racing inside my head.
The kiss, it was amazing. I feel like I was in heaven. But I'm still not satisfied about just a one passionate kiss will tell that you both like each other.

I texted Shawn and told him to meet me at the park at 3. He replied an 'okay'. Really? Just an okay?

The reason why I wanted to meet him because I wanted to know why he kissed me. I want to know if he also had feelings for me. And why he's not talking to me.

I get out of my bed then I get ready.

Shawn's POV

Camila and I haven't talked to each other after the date. Is she mad at me because I kissed her? *sighed*
I wish I didnt kissed her, If I didnt kissed her this won't be able to happen

I was lying down on my bed, still waiting for her text. But no text at all, I decided to text her first and apologize for what I did to her.

I was about to text her but she already texted me.

C:Hey good morning Shawn! Can we meet at the park at 3?

She wanted to meet me. Are we going to talk about the kiss last night? Is she going to ask me if I have feelings for her? Whatever question that is, ill answer it honestly. Ill tell her what I feel about her. I texted her back immediately.

S:Okay

Yeah, just an 'okay'

I started to get ready. I went to the store and bought Roses for her.

Camila's POV

Its almost 3. In a few minutes, all of my questions will be answered. I took a quick glance then leaved the house.

I went to the park early to clear up my mind before Shawn comes. I watched the kids running, playing hide and seek at the park then I feel someone's hand covered my eyes. I smile, realizing that its Shawn's.

I removed his hands then he gave something to me.

"Hey its for you! " I smile as he give me the flowers. "Thank you Shawn!" he nods then he sit beside me.

There's a moment of silence until Shawn spoke up.

"So Camila, what are we going to do here? " Oh shit!  I almost forgot. I clear my throat and looked at him in the eye.

"Shawn, I've been asking this to myself 2 days ago after---" 

"I know, about the kiss right? " he cutts me off.

I nod and continued

"I wanted to know that" I took a deep breathe

"Why did you kissed me? Do you have feelings for me? Or what? " I told him. I looked away , he caressed my cheek making me to look at him again.

"Camila, I kissed you because I have feelings for you. I kissed you because I like you ,for a long time since I met you. And I'm afraid to tell you this before because I'm afraid to know that you dont feel the same way I feel for you" he explained

I was touched of what Shawn said. I hugged him then he hugged me back.

"And I'm also afraid to know that you dont feel the same way Shawn, I like you too! " i whispered in his ear.

I can feel his smile on my shoulders.

"Really? " Shawn said while facing me.

I nod with a smile. He chuckled then we hugged once more.

"So? " I smirk

"Will you be my girlfriend Camila Cabello? " he ask while he hold both of my hands.

"Of course!" I chuckled

Shawn stands up, so do I and now we are facing at each other's eyes.

He caressed my cheeks then he slowly moves his face closer to mine. He leaned in and placed his lips on my lips. I slowly place my hands on his shoulders then he placed his hands on my waist. Our lips are moving in sync together.

This kiss was better than before. Our kiss last for a minute. We slowly disconnected our lips together. We both chuckled.

"You taste like cherries" Shawn said as he lick his lips.

My face turned red. "You're blushing babe!" he said.

"Stop it Mendes! You're killing me! " I chuckled

"With what?" he said

"Your words"

Shawn then gave me a peck on the lips.

"Now you taste like cherries also! " Then we both laugh

"What about a movie date? " he suggested

"Okay BABE"I smirked

"You're so cute you know that? "

We intertwine our hands together then walked to Shawn's car.

Now that we're already an official, I know that Shawn will never hurt me like Austin did to me. Welcome back hope!
