Chapter 11

Camila's POV

Does he really asked me out? I jumped a little and Hailey and Jade stared at me, now they think that Im crazy!

"Camila, what's happening to you? " Jade immediately snapped her head into mine.

"Tell me Im dreaming! " then I lightly slapped myself to wake up. Both of them just laughed.

"Hey youre not dreaming, now stop hitting your self you look crazy rightnow! " Hailey said as she grab my wrist.

"Now,  tell me what happened" I give them my phone.

"Well,  Shawn asked me out!" I crossed my arms.

"I think he liked you back! " Jade teased. 

"I-I dont know, I hope so!" I mutter.

"Gurl,  its pretty obvious, he act different when you're with him" Jade said and handled my phone back.

"I saw him flirt at you once! " Hailey told me. "What? R-Really ? When? " I asked.

"Remember when you saw him walking at the hall near your locker, Then he asked you for your schedule"

"Yeah,  I didn't forget that" Hailey nods and continued

"I was there watching both of you talking,I saw his eyes, he just stare at you, he never removed his eyes on you. His smile, A-and his body language" she explained. Gosh!  I didn't notice that!.

"Guys, help me, I dont know what to do! " I asked

"Easy, you should do the 'Up and down look' for a kiss" Hailey suggested.

"Hailey, what the heck! We're just friends, its just a friendly date I guess" I looked down realizing that We're just friends. Jade and Hailey comforted me.

" Its okay girl, Wait I have an idea! " Jade said. I looked at Jade."What is it?" I asked. " We should buy a dress for you, you have to look perfect on your first date with Shawn! " I smile
"And also,  a makeover!" Hailey added.

"Im so grateful to have you guys! " I thanked and hugged them."That was friends for! " Jade said.

We went at Forever 21 and bought some clothes and accessories for me. I also got my new hair. We decided to go home.

Jade dropped me first so I can have a beauty rest. I wave at them goodbye and went inside.

*Alarm Rings*

Today is the day!  He's coming back to school and Im going to see him in a few minutes. I did my routine and wear a Black shirt, Jeans and a Flannel and wrapped it around my waist. The outfit I bought yesterday.

I grab the necklace that I also bought yesterday. I attached it on my neck then I admire myself in the mirror. Perfect! I spray some perfume on and walked down stairs.

My family are coming home tomorrow.  I still have the money they gave me but I only have $50 left. I sigh and took the left money on the fridge.

I unlock my phone and Shawn texted me. I made a huge smile and quickly tap his message.

S: Heyy!! Excited to see you!
C: Me too Shawn!  See you in a bit

I made a huge smile on my face. I made my breakfast and after that I drive myself to school since my sister didn't use the car today.

I reached the school and parked the car at the parking lot. I hopped out and saw my friends there.

"Wow, you looked gorgeous! I really made a right decision for choosing that outfit" Hailey said. I smile. "You guys see Shawn around? " I asked them I look around the school but I dont see him. "Uhh not yet Karla" Jade said.  "Nice one Jade! " I roll my eyes.

"Guys! Im nervous" I nervously said.

"Why?,  Camila dont worry he don't bite" Hailey jokingly said. "No,  seriously I dont know what to do. What if we had it awkward?" I said

"Just talk about the School, the environment?" Jade said. "Jade, that's not what I mean, what should I do " I push her lightly.

"Just talk about your self that's all" Hailey said. I nod. We went inside the school. As we walk through the hall,  I see Shawn on his locker, talking with Nash. Damn! He's so hot in his outfit today. I snapped my head to my side immediately when Shawn sees me. I continue to walk and I pretend that I didn't notice him.

"Camila, hi! " he said smiling at me.  I stop walking I turn around and looked at him. "Oh hey Shawn! I didnt notice you there" I said. I can feel my legs shaking. Im not yet ready to see him!

Shawn was about to speak but the bell rings. Great! " lets go?" Shawn invited. I nod then he waved at Nash goodbye.

We went at the English class together with my friends. It was awkward to me cause while we walk to our room, I was the only one silent. Both of my best friend are talking with him while me, I feel like a third wheel.

I dont know what are they talking about. "Hey Camila, you're just quiet right there" Shawn said "Uhh sorry? " I snapped my head at him. He laughed. " You're quiet in there" I dont know what to say. I opened my mouth. "Ohh uh I just-" I was cutt off by Hailey. "She's just having a head ache that's why" Thanks Hailey!

"Oh I think we should cancel our date later" Shawn said. "What?  No it's just a simple head ache, it'll gone soon" I smile then he nods.

We finally reached the room, we went to our respective seats. I sit down and so does Shawn then the awkward moment starts.

I don't know what to do! I just stare at my desk and I began tapping my fingers in it. I look at Shawn in a hide way and I saw him licked his lips. I smile widely. I tried to stop smiling because I don't want him to see it.

Few classes passed and the class is over. Okay, the date will be in a few minutes. I jumped from surprise when my friends called me. "Oh my god! You both scared me! " I roll my eyes. "Sorry,  but before you leave with Shawn you still have a few minutes to get ready" Hailey said and pulled me in the restroom.

They began to retouch my face with a light makeup,brushed my hair and spray some perfume on. "You're now ready! " I glance my self at the mirror for the last time.

"You got this girl! " Jade said.  I nod and hugged them. We all exited the school. I grab my phone and texted Shawn.

C: Heyy!  Where should we meet?

He reply immediately. That was fast.

S: Turn around!

I turn around and I see Shawn behind me. "Heyy!!" I waved at him. "Ready? " he asked. "Yeah, Im ready!" he shaked his head and followed him at the parking lot. I turn around and waved at my friends goodbye.

Shawn opened the door for me. I thanked him then he ran at the driver's seat.

"So where are we going by the way? "  I ask before he starts the engine. " At your favorite resto" he said then he started the car. "At Kenny Rogers? How did you know? " "Your friends told me earlier " then he drive.

He literally asked my friends about it! Im so lucky to be his friend but I just want more than that!
