Chapter 15

Months and years have passed, still living with the boy I love with all my heart. They say, HOPE is not pretending that troubles dont exist. It is the hope that they wont last forever that hurts will be healed and difficulties overcome. That we will be led out of the darkness and into the sunshine. Sometimes you have to go through the hard times to realize how strong you are. And now, the hard times I've encountered turned into a happy ending with the help of my love. Shawn. His face, his voice, his strong arms carved within my body, making lots and lots of memories.

When I feel cold, you warm me up.
When Im scared to face the 'tomorrow',youre the one who'll face it first.
You did everything just to make our relationship strong.

I remember asking myself, why did Austin cheated on me. But I dont mind it anymore. I know everything happens for a reason. And the reason why that happened is because there's a person will come to my life who's better than him. And that person is Shawn. Some people come to your life as your lesson and some as experience.

Shawn and I went out on a date today so we still have a time to spend each other before Shawn and his family fly to California for some business trip.

Shawn wants me to come with them but I refused. I told him that I had alot of things to do. But the truth is, I just dont want to ruin his family bonding. And also I can measure if our relationship will stay even in Long Distance Relationship . They will stay there for I think 6 months or so?

"So it means LDR? "he asked, I nodded

"But hey, its just 6 months Its not forever. We can still see each other after that. I promise that Ill be the one you'll see first when you come back here. And when we got home, we'll spend our day lying in bed cuddling, watching Netflix and more" I heard his sigh.

"But I cant, I want you with me. What if one day we stopped talking and--"

"Ssst, stop it Mendes. Dont think about that! If you truly love me, then trust me. Its gonna be alright" I hugged him after that. A tear fell down on my shoulder. I knew his going to cry.

"Promise me we'll talk on Skype everyday and text me okay? " Shawn said

"I will Shawn, I promise. I love you!" I kissed his forehead.

"I love you more than what you expected" He reassured me.

The day of their flight to California.

I watch Shawn preparing, packing his stuff and his passport. I can see his face broken. He'll gonna miss me so much, and I'm gonna miss him too. Little by little, its almost the time they should arrive at the airport.

While on the road, Shawn held my hand tightly. Making sure that my hand is with him before they leave Canada. I rest my head on his shoulder and take a nap. I didnt had the chance to sleep yesterday because I watched Shawn all night so I wont miss his beautiful face.

I feel a hand rubbing on my shoulder. I slowly opened my eyes. We're already here. We both went out of the car and help taking out their luggage.

I was about to take the last bag but I feel a strong arms wrapped around me.

"H-hey! " I turned around and hugged him back.

"Im going to miss you Camilla! " Shawn then started crying.

"Shhh, me too Shawn. I promise it wont take forever. We'll still going to see each other I promise" I said while comforting him.

"Promise me to call me everyday and call me okay? And dont look for other guys or else"

I laughed. "I promise Shawn. Trust me" I told him

We then heard their flight. They need to leave now.

"Shawn, you guys need to leave now" I said

"I love you Camila"

"I love you too Shawn!  Take care"

And did our last goodbye kiss.

As they walk through the airport, Shawn and his family waved goodbye at me then they're gone. Im going to miss those guys so much!
