Is it Really Silence?

I look as calm as the serene sea,
The waves splashing against the rocks,
Singing their own rythm of silence,
So appears my own quietude and tranquility.
You wonder how I pull off such a composure,
It looks to good a utopia to be true,
For in this dark world of ruination,
There is a jigsaw piece that doesn't fit in its puzzle.

Little do you know my dear,
The sea is calm at the coast,
But there is a storm brewing in its midst,
Leaving only destruction in its wake,
And a silence so eerie as though death itself has come,
To end the most beautiful story in this world.

When fires are raging my love,
The flames are shone in your eyes,
Disappointed only to find that cold ice,
But little do you know,dear,
That the very fire pulses in my veins,
Threatening to burst out of my skin like fire on ice.

Listen to the silence my dear,
Reach out your heart to me,
And when you feel what I feel,
You will know behind every one of my smiles,
My heart screams in pain,
From the nightmares of my darkness,
From the torment of loneliness and sorrow,
From the most evil of the worlds where there is nothing,
But dark infinitude and obliteration.

A/N A description of those days when you have to be silent on the outside, even though you feel like screaming inside.
