"Cody?! What the hell are you doing in my room?!" I demanded to know.

"Stopping you from putting together the pieces of your little puzzle. I'm not going to let you get in the way of my plans any longer." Cody snapped.

"So you snuck into my bedroom and waited for me to come home?! That's your plan?!" I exclaimed.

"No, I followed you home, and teleported in here." Cody smirked.

"Teleported? But how? I don't understand?" I stuttered.

"Well there are many advantages when you come from a family of witches." Cody admitted.

I gasped hard. WITCHES?!

"Y-You're not human at all....." I choked.

Cody grinned wickedly.

"Very good Katie, you've finally figured it out. Well part of it anyways...." Cody replied.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You don't recognize me do you? I guess you wouldn't, this disguise is pretty clever." Cody stated.

    "What?" I whispered.

Without another word, Cody brought a hand to his face and began to pull. His skin started to tug free with ease and came off within seconds, but there was no skull or muscle underneath it. It was another face!

I yelped as I realized who it was. I was now staring my old fling dead in the face. From 2 years ago.....the one I had opened up to Karen about. Brad McFarley....Him and Cody were one in the same all along.

"Brad.....You've been Cody Cromwell this whole time?!" I gaped.

"That's right Katie. Who else would engulf you in that icy chill?" Brad smiled evilly.

"You're the reason I've been feeling that? I knew it! You bastard, what do you want from me? What are you doing here?!" I growled.

"I came here to find you, to get you back. Playing you was the most fun I ever had. Unfortunately though you learned not to trust my type since we've last seen each other, so your friend Karen seemed like the best bet for me. But you just had to ruin that for me too, didn't you?" Brad explained, taking steps toward me as he spoke.

I backed away with each step closer Brad took, slowly inching towards my bedroom door.

"You'll never hurt anyone here as long as I'm around. Their hearts aren't for you to play around with. You should just leave abd bever come back. I hate you for what you did and I'll never take you back!" I declared.

"I can do whatever I want Katie, even to you. You can't resist me as much as you think you can." Brad sneered.

I was up to my door now, slowly I reached behind me to grab the handle. Opening the door I tried to run, but Brad was too quick and shut the door on me, pinning me against it. He was dangerously close to me now.

"Going somewhere princess?" Brad asked, smirking.

"Get away from me." I ordered.

"Oh come on Katie, don't act like you haven't missed this. Do you remember the first time we kissed? In your friends basement? Why don't we reenact that night...." Brad flirted, pushing himself closer against me. He used his hand that wasn't against the door to brush my cheek

I pressed against Brad's chest, trying to push him away, but he was too strong. I moved my face away from his hand as well and I refused to meet his gaze. Who knows what kind of witch tricks he could pull....
