(Sorry guys if the story is getting boring at all, I've just been pretty mentally an physically tired lately. All my writing inspiration is down the drain but I want to push forward and try to finish my fanfic for once. Also your stuck with Edd for awhile.)

//Edd's POV//

My eyes felt like tears were brimming them and that my eyelids could drop down over my eyes like shades to block sun. I could sleep, peacefully, dream of sweet nothingness as the heart monitor would sooth me and reassure me I am not yet dead.
I kind of wish I was dead, though.

My chest, stomach, and back were covered in bloody bandages so I could barley move that area of my body. Sitting up and hunching over was a pretty hard task that involved pain. I won't ever take that for granted again.
I whimpered softly as I reach out for the picture tile. I still couldn't stop staring at it. It was wonderful! A brilliant piece of art for a kid, and I couldn't do much better. My art was decent, while not the best.

I like to make comics at home involving me, Matt, Tom, and very rarely I'll add Tord. I used to more often before he left.

I can't help but think that we've been through so much together. Tom, Matt and I alone! It's crazy to think about, but the thoughts make me smile. At least I'll know that I'm well cared for and loved if I do die. Dying isn't the best option at the moment but if I do happen to slip into a coma or forever sleep state I'll take it with a good heart.

A small movement in my hospital room caught in the corner of my eye and it snapped me out of my thoughts as I turned to look to it. I squinted and tried to locate (THE LAMB SAUCE) where the movement went. I pouted when I didn't find it, so I tried sitting up the best I could. "Hello?" I asked to the silence that greeted me. "Is something there? Maybe a mouse.. Ew." I grimaced at my own aloud thoughts and shuffled to where my feet were danging over the floor. I brushed my toe against the marble flooring and shivered. My bed seemed softer and warmer in retrospect even though it feels as hard as a rock and hurts my back when I sleep on it.

That's not a good thing especially when you've got holes in your back and other parts of your body.

I slowly pressed my feet against the cold floor and bit my lip at it, reaching over with a whimper to grab the rolling machine where the IV was connected to. I slowly glided my feet against the floor, slightly hunch over. It hurt, but it would hurt less than sitting up straight.
I more like a turtle because I was weak as hell. I searched sloppily for whatever was in my room but I soon found nothing. I sighed heavily, shaking my head. I turned around, biting my lip as I inched my way back to my bed.

I jumped as something brushed against my foot and I heard a large clank. I yelped and slowly lost balance. I closed my eyes tight as I felt myself slip off of my heel and plummet.

My fall hurt like hell but it was warm and soft.
I thought I had fallen on something so I opened my eyes and squeaked when I saw Matt hovering over me. I finally pieced together that he was holding me up. He looked worried.

"Edd- are you okay? What are you doing out of your hospital b-" he began, but I shushed him softly as I placed a hand on his cheek and slowly smiled.

"Heh.. Hey, Matt. I've been meaning to see you..."
