Another Object in the Picture(Chapter 4)

i had this saved on my computer i dont know why but it gave me an idea for this chapter, but tbh this is some girls (me) and im not trying to sound mean okay?(its my opinion)

well on with the story~

Eric's POV:

i took a taxi to where my mother had told me they had recently moved to, i was happy to be back i missed my family so much and now that _y/n_ is 18 i need to make sure that she's doing okay. the best part is that now we are going to be living in Tulsa which is where i came to during summer vacation with my aunt and that's where i met the gang. i became friends with all the guys in the group even Johnny?! Well as i arrived at the house and i go up the steps and knock on the door. "hello? mom? dad? is anyone home?", "coming" i hear someone say. "mom!", "Eric!" she said as i hugged my mother. we both went inside "how are you? how was it?" my mother asked, "hey umm mom where's _y/n_?" i ask looking around. "oh your sister went out" my mom replied, "where did she go?" i asked. "Eric calm down _y/n_ is now 18 she can handle herself, she might be at her friends house", "her friends house?" i said confused. "yes very nice young man i think his name was Ponyboy?" my mother replied, then it hit me.

_y/n_ POV:

Dally just stood there looking at me, "Dal did something happen between you and Eric?" i asked. "nothing  _y/n_ but besides that i wanted to ask you something" he looked at me "i knew you for quite some time and i was wondering if maybe you wanted to be my girl?" once he asked me i looked down i mean he just asked me to be his girl Dallas Winston! "so is it a yes or no?" he asked, "yes! yes! of course" i replied. "r-really?!", "yes Dally!" i said smiling. "come on then, lets go tell the gang" he said smiling and kissed my forehead, he then took my hand and rushed both of us to the Curtis household. once we both got there everyone was doing their own thing Pony with Johnny, Soda arm wrestling Steve, Darry in the kitchen, and Two-bit drinking a beer and watching Mickey Mouse. everyone was looking at us, "well how was it lovebirds?" Two-bit asked. "well i would like to announce that _y/n_ and i are now a couple" Dally said with a smile on his face, everyone cheered. "im happy for both you" Darry told us, "we really are" i replied.

NO POV:

Eric now knew where his sister was, and that's where he went to the house of his old friend. as Eric saw the house and heard cheering, Eric went up the stairs and knock on the door even though he knew that the door would be unlocked he still knocked anyways. "comin'" the voiced belonged to Soda and when Soda opened the door a grin so wide it made Eric grin too, "well hey there Eric" Soda said. "hey Soda um is Darry home?" Eric asked, "yeah hold up......HEY DARRY ITS FOR YOU" Darry walked to Soda "could you quit yelling". "well hey there Eric long time no see" Darry finally said, "yeah Darry how you been" Eric replied. "i've been doing well, come in" Darry said walking into the house as Eric followed. "hey gang Eric's back!" Soda shouted as Eric entered the living room. "hey there Eric" Pony said, "hey there Pone" Eric said with a smile. " hey Pony do you know where _y/n_ is?" Eric asked. "oh um _y/n_ she's out back with........" Pony was cut off by Soda as he covered his mouth. Eric looked confused but shrugged it off, "hey guys lets go celebrate at the nightly double!" Dally yelled as you and him came back into the house from the outside. "_Y/N_!!" Eric shouted, "E-Eric?!" you replied as you saw your brother, "where were you i was lookin for you and....." he paused as he noticed that Dally had his arm around you. Eric walked to you and Dally and separated both of you and hugged you, "when did you come back?" you asked. "i just got home a couple of minutes ago i went to the house and well when i searched for you in the house you weren't there" he replied, "so how did you know that i was here?" you ask. "mom told me" Eric replied with a grin.

Dally POV:

wow he's back now that's something first he did something to me and now he's trying to take _y/n_ away from me, dude is going too far, but i know that _y/n_ won't allow it she's 18 she's able to make her own decisions. "Dally!" I snapped out of daze and _y/n_ was looking at me, "hey Dally I gotta go sorry". "don't sweat it, it's alright" I replied with a smile, "so you wanna go out Saturday" I asked. She looked up and smiled "of course I would", "HEY _Y/N_ CAN YOU HURRY UP WE GOTTA GO!" Eric yelled from the outside. _y/n_ rolled her eyes "well see you Saturday" she kissed my cheek and left.

Eric POV:
Once _y/n_ got out of the house we began to walk home, "so do you like Tulsa?" I say breaking the silence. "of course I do I like here a lot except the whole entire greaser and socs thing" _y/n_ said with a sigh, "so is there anything between you and Dally?" i asked, her eyes widened "why would you think that?". "im just asking" i paused and stopped walking, "Eric?" she asked as she stopped as well. i walk to her and grab her by her shoulders and as i looked in her eyes i could see how scared she was, "_y/n_..." i said in a low voice. "y-yes?" she replied, "i want you to listen to me and to listen to me good" i paused. "okay...." she replied quietly. "i don't want you getting near him and i don't want him getting near you" i finally said, "wait are you talking about Dally?" she asked. "YES IM TALKING ABOUT HIM!" i shouted. "WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME? DID SOMETHING HAPPEN BETWEEN YOU AND DALLY?" she shouted back. "I JUST DONT WANT YOU AROUND HIM!, YOU DONT KNOW THE KIND OF GUY HE IS!", "AND HOW DO YOU NOW THAT I'VE BEEN HERE MORE THAN YOU!" she replied. "YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND!" i shouted, "AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT!?" _y/n_ yelled in tears. my face had now soften _y/n_ really does care but she wouldn't understand, "because i've seen what he has done" i replied.

Is it best for you (the reader) knowing the truth of what really happened to Dally?
