The Right Choice?(Chapter 5)

Eric POV:

_y/n_ had tears running down her face, eyes widen "what did you see?" she asked. "i cant....i couldn't tell you..." i replied, "why?" _y/n_ replied. "because i don't know if you would hate me and Dally or you would leave me" i sighed, "why would i hate you or Dally" she asked. "because i don't know if you could handle the truth or not" I replied, "Eric i can handle it so please tell me" she said. "fine ok i'll tell you but please don't hate me for this okay?" I said, "alright Eric" _y/n_ replied.

NO POV:

you and your brother walked to the park so both of you can talk, once both of you arrived at the park the two of you sat down. "_y/n_ i really don't want to do this, but its not like Dally is going to tell you" Eric said looking down, "well tell me Eric" you replied. "alright" Eric took a deep breath and began the story, "it was eleven years ago you were a barely 7 and it was summer vacation so I went with aunt Vanessa for the summer and well she lives here in Tulsa, I already knew the gang and I was around 12 years old and Darry was too(both Darry and Eric are 23 right now I know I know but who cares I'm the one making the story anyways) so that means that........... wait how old is Dally?" Eric asked. " he's 20" you replied. "Yeah so dally was 9 years old but anyways even tho Dally has been getting into trouble with the fuzz so I would help him out me and Dally we were like brothers, but something happened and it changed him and a lot too." "What changed him" you asked. "now the tricky part for me to tell you but here goes nothing.....even though Dally kept on getting in trouble I was always there until the day he met this girl......" Eric paused.

"Eric are you for real both of you hate each other 'cause of a girl" you said annoyed. "No it's not what you think that girl wasn't just any girl it was his sister, his parents told him that she died and well she didn't she was there waiting on the porch at the Curtis house when she saw Dally she saw me and well me and his sister Darcy we were really close friends but once we were walking to their house she stopped and told me that she liked me" Eric breathed in and sighed, "oh get it Eric" you said winking. "Haha very funny _y/n_ but to be honest I didn't feel that way about her so I declined her feelings. I felt so bad she started to cry and she said she was gonna kill herself" , "did she?" you asked. "no she didn't but she left Tulsa and went to New York and leaving Dally too once Dally knew about it he got angry me saying that it my fault that I took her away from him" , "how did he know" you asked again. "Darcy left a letter and once Dally read it and everything he hated me because once again he could no longer see his sister" Eric finished looking down. you moved closer to you brother "it will be fine Eric you'll see, maybe Darcy will come soon". "She won't" a voice said, both you and Eric turned around looking for who ever said that. " who's there?!" you shouted, someone walked out of the shadow of the tree no so far from you and Eric.

_y/n_ POV:

The figure looked like a guy the figure looked up and it was Dally! "D-dally what are you doing here?" I asked. " I was going to Bucks but then I saw you two so and I came here" he replied a bit rudely, " did you hear...." I was cut off by Dally. " YES I HEARD AND I HEARD EVERYTHING!" Dally shouted. He then looked at Eric "WHY DID YOU!?, WHY DID YOU TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME?!!", "I DIDNT TAKE HER AWAY FROM YOU WINSTON AND YOU KNOW THAT, YOU KNEW THAT I DIDNT LIKE HER IN THAT WAY YOU KNEW I LOVED SOMEONE ELSE" Eric shouted back. "YES YOU DID _L/N_ YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM ME AND NOW YOU WANT TO TAKE _Y/N_ FROM ME, DON'T YOU THINK YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH?!" Dally yelled. "BOTH OF YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I yelled, both in shock the looked at me, "IM SICK AND TRIED OF YOU GUYS FIGHTING, CONTROL YOURSELVES ACT LIKE THE FUCKING ADULTS YOU ARE DON'T ACT LIKE FUCKEN CHILDREN ALWAYS YELLING AT ONE ANOTHER, DALLY I KNOW YOU MISS DARCY BUT COME ON YOU KNEW THAT ERIC DIDNT FEEL THAT WAY!". "But....." I cut Dally off, "NO LET ME FINISH IF YOU KNEW YOU CANT BLAME MY BROTHER OKAY?!, AND ERIC I KNOW YOU'RE NOT A BAD GUY BUT REALLY YOU NEED TO THINK THINGS THREW TOO!! WHAT IF DARCY LIED TO DALLY ABOUT SOMETHING IN THAT LETTER, WHAT DID THAT LETTER EVEN SAY?!" I looked at Dally. Dally looked down "I have the letter if you want to read it", "I would gladly like to" I replied still a bit angry.

Still the readers POV:

Once we arrived at Dally's house he gave me the letter which was still kept in the envelope, I took the letter out and I began to read it.

Dear Dally,
I'm so sorry Dally I know that mom and dad lied to you about me it's because they wanted to make sure that you didn't turn out like me even though you're growing and getting older but can you do me one small favor?  Take care of mom and dad I might not see you again but I'm leaving Tulsa I can't stay here anymore I need to start my life again if you see Eric tell him that if he is now happy that I'm no longer there I know this might sound gross to you still but I hope that you'll find someone who loves you for you. Don't make the same mistakes I did with Eric, you can now see what's happening right now but just remember that one day I'll come back just don't get you hopes up that much okay? I love you Dallas take care.

I was done reading the letter but I still can't understand why I can't be with Dally, Darcy clearly said that she wants him to be happy with someone who loves him for him.  I do love him but how can I make both of them understand. I look at Dallas and Eric, "so why can't I be with Dally?" I asked Eric. He sighed and said " because once Darcy left Tulsa Dally got angry and well he went out and well he.......", "I killed a soc" Dally finished for Eric. "okay is there anything else you want to say before I get out of this house and not talk to both of you for a month?!" I said raising my voice, " it was Cherry's brother" Eric said. My eyes widen Cherry had a brother?, "why did you kill him Dally?" I asked. "he looked a lot like Eric and I had my switch with me and I killed em" Dally replied looking down, I got up and I hugged Eric and then Dally.

No POV:

You step back "you guys need to stop fighting, you two were like brothers right?" you asked, "yeah but......" you cut off Dally. " no Dal it's not Eric's fault because Darcy decided to leave, Eric didn't tell her to leave, she left on her own", you look down at your watch and it showed 12:35 it was pretty late. "Hey you guys I think we should get some rest, Dally can we stay here tonight" you asked, "yeah you guys can sleep in Darcy's room" Dally started to lead you and Eric to his sisters bedroom. he then opened the door and Eric went to sit on the bed, you started to lead Dally out the bedroom. " Goodnight Dally" you say "goodnight _y/n_" he replied and went to his room, you closed the door and went on the bed with your brother both of you went under the sheets and you snuggled in your brother's chest as he put his arms around you. "I love you _y/n_" Eric said, " i love you too" you replied. Then both of you drifted off to sleep.
