Tough Love (Dally x Reader)

The Loss(Chapter 8)

Dally's POV:

after i wrote the note i left on the kitchen table, i walked out the door and started my way to the park and i sat down and leaned against a tree and I sat there crying my eyes out not knowing what to do, I felt my eyes get heavy and I slept in the park against the tree.

Once i woke up i lit a cigarette and i stared crying thinking again that i did something wrong 'was it because of me?' 'did i do something wrong'. "Dally?" i turn around and i saw Johnny, he sat down next to me. "Are you okay?" he asked, "im okay man dont worry about it" i replied. i then felt two hand on my cheeks, they pulled my face so i could look at Johnny. "Dally, somethin's wrong and i know it" he stared at my eyes "Dally you know you can tell me or else" he let go of my face and sat back, "you helped me find the guy who did this to my face" he said smiling and pointing to the bandaged scar. "you're right Johnnycakes" i said with a smile, i got up and Johnny got up too. "thanks Johnnycakes" i hugged him and kissed him on the forehead, then i ran off.

Johnny's POV:

he kissed me, Dally kissed me. i touched where he kissed me, i just stood there. i always liked Dally more than a friend but he's with _y/n_ and _y/n_ is my bestfriend, i cant break them up 'cause of me. *sigh* what wrong with me.

No POV:

Dally went running to your house but once he got there he heard you crying, "WHY!!!" you shouted. Dally knocked on the door and Eric went to open it, Eric looked at Dally with tears in his eyes. "c-come in" he said stepping away from the doorway, you looked up and ran to him. causing both of you to stubble a fall on the couch. you pulled away and kissed him, then you hugged him again tightly. you tears began to fall down your face again, "_y/n_ what happen?" Dally asked. you pulled back and gave him a letter that was sent by the hospital.

Dear _y/n_ and Eric _l/n_,

Our hospital is very sorry to say that your parents Crystal and David _l/n_ have passed yesterday on June 24, 1969 at 4:57 pm. We have gone through all the paper work and it looks like that both of you will be inspected to see if both of you can stay together. The court will be next week on Tuesday July 1 at 9:30 am, but over all we are very sorry about the loss of your parents. The funeral will be this Saturday all expenses have been payed.

_Y/N_ POV:

Dally put down the letter once he was done reading it, he looked at me with concern. tears were forming in my eyes and i felt when the warm drops ran down my cheeks, Dally wrapped his arms around me. i felt Dally motion Eric to us, i heard my brother's footsteps. Eric kneeled beside us and we all hugged each other for that moment, until we heard a knock at the door. we all jumped, "hey its us open up!" it was the voice of Two-Bit and by the tone of his voice he's probably drunk. We all scattered, "you guys go upstairs and wash your faces" Eric whispered. me and Dally went up the stairs to the bathroom, he shut the door and i tossed him a towel. he caught it, he turned on the sink and wet the towel. he tossed the towel to me and i wiped my face with it, i tossed it back to Dally and he wiped his face too. "hey you guys come down stairs" it was Eric, he shouted us downstairs so we got out and me and Dally started waking down the stairs. i stared walking down the steps with Dally following, "well, well, well, did we wake the love birds?" a drunken Two-Bit said. all me and Dally gave was a weak smile, we walked over to Eric. "did you washed your face?" i asked in a whisper, "yes _y/n_ i did, dont worry about it" my brother replied to me in a whisper as well. "so why y'all here?" my bother asked, "they said they wanted to visit you" Darry said.

Dally's POV:

"it was nice of y'all to come" _y/n_ said, "no problem _n/n_" said Johnny and a bit nervous too. mine and Johnny's eyes met and he then quickly looked away whispered something to Pony and went outside, somethings wrong i thought he would never do that, he wouldnt do that to me anyways. "is everything okay Dally" _y/n_ said, "yeah dont worry about it" i took a deep breath "hey _y/n_ im going outside okay". _y/n_ looked at me then she smiled knowing that i was going to smoke, she let go of me then went with her brother in the kitchen. i went outside to find Johnny on the stairs crying but he had a cigarette in his hand, i go and sit next to him. "is everything okay Johnnycakes?" i ask, Johnny looked up and and smiled "yeah..why do you ask?" he replied. "Johnny i know somethings wrong, come on you can tell me" i said looking at him, Johnny's eyes widened then he looked down "im sorry man but..." he took a deep breath "i think its time i told you"
