Chapter 29

Jason McCann:

"Jason.." I heard someone calling me. I groaned. "Babe" a female voice called me again. my eyes shoot wide open, Melissa.

"Melissa you're awake" I said. my lips soon were forming a smile. but she didn't smile with me.

"Take care Jason" She said. She licked her lips. she does this when she's nervous or she's excited. "why?" I ask.
Her soft hand touches mine. "I won't be here for long" She said. My heart shatter in pieces.

"Just promise me you won't leave me" I said. She sighted. Her hand made her way up to my face. Her left-hand was stroking my cheek. "I love you Melissa" I said. She smiled.

I swear, everytime I look at her it just causes me to fall more. She's perfect in every single way.

"I love you too Jason" She said. My heart was soon skipping beats. She leaned In & kissed me. of course I kissed back. This kiss was different, She made it seem like it was the last one.

She took a step back, "My time is running" she said. Sadness look on her face. something that I'll never forget. "where are you going?" I ask. She looked away. After a couple of seconds she answered, "A better place".

"But Yo-" She cut me off. "I need to go where I belong" She said. I grabbed her hand. The feeling of her soft skin was amazing. Her gaze turned to me. "But you belong with me.." I said. She sighted. Tears forming in her eyes.

"I don't have enough time" She said. My eyes were suddenly getting wet. The thought of not having her made me so mad & Sad. "You can't go" I said. Instead of frowning she smiled.

"Watch me as I go" She said. She dropped my hand. I suddenly felt paralyze. Like if every single of my mussel was like clay, At first fresh but with the seconds it turn hard & Not able to move. She started walking towards the door. "Melissa.. Please.. Don't go" I said. tears were running down my cheek.

"I have to, But we'll see each other" She said. One small tear fell among her cheek. "I love you" She said. "I love you too" I said. With that she disappear into a bright light.

"Jason! Jason" I heard someone say. My eyes shot open. "Melissa?" I ask. my heart was racing fast.

"No it's Alex" the other person said. I got my hopes up to quickly.

"Is she awake?" I ask. I stand up & started to walk to the door. "calm down Jason" my brother said. "I came to tell you she's stable, Maybe she will wake up by next week" He said. "Maybe? Maybe? " I said. I was getting frustrated.

"Don't stress it, It's about someone's life.. It doesn't depend on us" He said. He was more calm about it. "But it depends to a machine?" I ask.

Alex stays shut. His gaze was on me for a second. He then ran his hand down his face. "I'll leave you alone" He said.

He walked the door.

I guess it was all a dream & After all she is dying....
