Joey's POV

About a year later it was our anniversary again. And I was super nervous.

I was proposing to Shane. I just hope he says yes and nothing goes wrong. We don't need to repeat last year.

I walk into our bedroom and Shane is gone.

Oh no. Please don't tell me he left again. I quickly call him. He answers almost right away.

Joey: Shane-

Shane: I didn't forget our anniversary.

Joey: Then where are you?

Shane: At my mom's. Meet me there in 3 hours. Dress nicely.

Joey: What?

Shane: It's a date Joey. See you soon. I love you.

He hangs up. Wow. He planned a date. How am I supposed to propose now?

I'll just wing. I head towards my closet and pick out my best outfit. Today will be the day we either get engaged or I get my heart broken.

I really hope it's the first one.

Shane's POV

Shane: What if he says no?

Mom: He won't.

Shane: How do you know. I mean it's been 7 years. Maybe he doesn't want to get married.

Mom: Shane stop worrying. If he's been with you for 7 years he obviously loves you a lot. I know he'll say yes.

Shane: Will you stick around just in case he says no?

Mom: Of course.

Shane: Can I get have the ring?

Mom: It's right here.

She picks up a small box and hands it to me. I open the box and look at the ring my mom and I picked out.

It's perfect.

I begin to feel nervous. I might be marrying Joey Graceffa soon. I can't believe it.

But first thing first, I have to get through dinner.

For the next hour I run around trying to make everything as perfect as I can.

Fingers crossed everything goes well.

Joey's POV

I fix my hair for the 100th time. I keep telling myself I look fine but I feel like I have to be perfect for Shane.

I'm just being paranoid. I get out of the car and knock on the door.

My handsome, perfect Shane opens the door and smiles at me. I give a hug and kiss. He drags me inside.

Joey: I miss you. Did you have to leave me?

Shane: I was planning this!

Joey: Well whatever this is, I'm glad we're together.

Shane: Me too. I love you so much Joey.

Joey: I love you just as much Shane.

He gives me another kiss. Then he takes my hand and leads my to the dining room. It's so romantic.

There's candles and flower petals. It's breathtaking. Why did Shane go all out?

Joey: Wow.

Shane: I made chicken too.

Joey: Why so fancy today?

Shane: I want everything to be perfect for you. Come on. Sit. We can eat.

I sit down and we eat. I almost laugh at how good the chicken is. I have a feeling his mom made this.

We finish eating and just as I'm about to ask him something he stands up and then gets down on one knee.

Oh my god. He's going to propose...

Shane's POV

This is it. I'm about to find out if he'll marry me or not.

Shane: Joey Graceffa, will you-

Joey: No Shane...
