The third Kira was cornered. The police took him out of his car and cuffed him. Another officer grabbed the book and started to freak out, then another and another.
If I seen Ryuk when I touched Light's notebook then that must mean Ryuk is there. No, I'd see him. There must be another shinigami.
Ryuga takes the notebook after asking an officer to hand it to him. His eyes widen. I look at him oddly and grab the notebook. Turning to face the same direction as him I see something. That looks like Ryuk but it isn't. It must be another shinigami.
Light takes the book from my hands and starts screaming. I didn't think the shinigami was that scary, especially since he has already seen one. His eyes become darker and more sinister.
I hear a scream coming from the third Kira. He died, of a heart attack, I'm guessing. I try and zone everything else out because it's too much. I just hug my legs to my chest and block out everything around me.
Light touches my shoulder. His eyes aren't as soft as they were a second ago. They're back to the way they used to be. Lifeless.
"It's ok. We're heading back now so you can relax"
I know what's coming next. Light is going to kill L. I know it. I lean into Light, his arm around my shoulder. Why Light. You picked up the notebook and changed completely. Wait, he didn't have the notebook since he was put in the cell until now. Something isn't right about that.
We make it back and I head to my room. Light follows me, L decided to take off the handcuffs since he found him innocent. Don't, you'll get yourself killed Ryuga. Light pulls me into my room and we sit on the couch. I forgot the book was still underneath it and try to lead him away from it.
"Hey, why don't we go watch a movie?" I have a tv in my bedroom, it should keep him off the scent of the book.
"Sure," he says with a smile
I put on a movie and I cuddle up against Light. He starts to doze off in the middle of the movie. Eventually he is completely asleep and I slip out. I need to give the book to Ryuga now, if not Light might find it.
I slide the book under L's door with a note telling him to keep it away from Light's sight. Light only knows of the one book that we took off of the third Kira.
I walk upstairs, to the roof. It was raining. Good, I need to think about Light and his connection to the notebook.
So, Light had it before and his eyes were dark. He must've known of it's power. After he was put under lockdown for a while his eyes brightened, he didn't have the notebook. He didn't even know what it was. After he touched it again in the helicopter his eyes grew dark again. He could've lost his memory in between then and now. No, I'm almost positive he did.
I'm going to be here for a while, might as well grab a chair.
