Selena's POV

"Morning." Cameron grumbled as he walked into the kitchen the next day.

It was well after ten so everyone was at school and Justin was at work.

We figured he could take a few days off school given the current situation so it was just the two of us at home.

"Morning baby. Hungry?" I asked, planting a kiss on his head when he sat down.

"I guess." He sighed. I smiled sadly, moving to make him a sandwich.

"How are you feeling?"

He shrugged. "I don't even know."

"That's understandable. It'll get better eventually. I swear."

"I know. It just sucks you know? The fact that she's gone."

"I know love. But always remember, she's with you just not physically. She'll never actually be gone."

"Yeah." He looked down. "Well, if it weren't for you guys I guess I'd officially be an orphan huh?" He scoffed bitterly.

I bit my lip. I guess I should tell him now...

"About that..."

He looked up cautiously. "You-you're not changing your mind are you?"

"Of course not! I've told you a million times, you are our son now. That's not going to change. Ever."

"Okay good. Sorry."

"It's fine. Nothing to apologize about."

"What were you going to say?"

"Oh right." I took a deep breath. "Your biological father was here yesterday."

"I'm sorry what?" He dropped the sandwich he was about to take a bite from and I sat across from him, placing my hands over his.

"Yeah, he dropped by when you were asleep."

"What did he want?"

"Uhm, well, after he heard about your mom, he wanted to introduce himself. He says he wants to be a part of your life."

"D-does he want me?"

What was I supposed to say?

"He doesn't right? Because I hate him. I want to stay here with you. And Justin. Justin is my dad. I don't want to go with him. You're not letting me go with him are you?"

I got up from my seat and went over to him, wrapping my arms around his shaking body.

"Hey it's okay, calm down. You're not going anywhere. It's okay."

His breathing slowed down. "He said he wanted to form a relationship with you but he doesn't want to take you from us. I wasn't going to let him anyways." I scoffed.

"What did you tell him?"

"Justin told him that the decision lies with you and we'd support whatever you chose to do. He said he'd come back today to talk to you."

"Okay. What if I don't want to talk to him?"

"I think you should just here him out this once. If after that you never want to talk to him then that's fine. We'll even get a restraining order if you want but this is your one shot at a relationship with your own blood. I know you must have had so many questions growing up without him, now is the time where you can get those answers."

"Thanks...m-" He cut himself short.

"What?"

"I know legally you two are my parents but is it okay if I call you mom and dad?"
