Blue's POV
Me and (H/n) were crouched down behind the tree line gathering information from afar. Everything was going good until Wondergirl was accidentally comprimised. Guns went off,and shit started to hit the fan. Three team members were down, Wondergirl, Garfeild, and Miss M. So me, (H/n), and everyone else was left to fight them off, we were getting tired quickly.
Down to only a few people, I had knocked out the last guy, so I thought- Just then I heard two thuds and a yelp for behind me. I turn and (H/n) is on the ground, bleeding with a deep cut in the side of her stomach.
"NO!" I yell, Nightwing see's the situation and calls for the Bioship. The Bioship lands as I carry her bridal style into it. I lay her down, her face is drained of color and looks as pale as snow. I grip her hand and she struggles trying to return the effort, she was squinting as I could hear heart rate decreasing. She was losing a lot of blood and we were not going to be back at base soon enough.
"Stay with me (H/n) were getting close" I tell her.
"Damn it Blue, That beetle of yours is too Fucking slow to comprehend shit and it's going get you killed one day..." she says. This begins to spark questions in my mind, she had a point, Beetle would have saw that guy coming a mile away and would have created defenses, What the Hell happened this time? Whatever, that doesn't matter right now. (H/n)'s grip is lessening and she starting to fade away.
"NO NO NO! Stay with me Damn it! Why? Why did you do it? I would have been fine!-"
"Because...I care" she interrupts me softly.
I hold her close in my arms not ever wanting to let her go. In attempt of getting her warmer ,my suit stretches into a blanket and wraps us both in it. We land at base and I fly out not waiting for anyone, I fly through the halls straight towards the E.R. (at base). We seperate as they rush her into the operating room.
I sit and I wait for what feels like days, I didn't eat and I barely slept, because every time I close my eyes that horrific scene plays over and over again like a broken record.
After a long while, the operator's leave the room, one brings me aside and explains her conditions.
"Is she going to be ok doc? How is she?!"
"Calm down, She lost alot of blood it's a miracle her hearts still beating, she's in a very deep, one which she'll probably need. It might take her a while to wake up, but your free to see her if you'd like." She said.
"Yes ma'am, That would be much appreiciated." I respond, she escorts me to where (H/n) sleeps. The women I love in a sleep like death before me. Her mask is off, she's beautiful, more than I could ever imagine.
*The Operator leaves the room*
I wonder what color eye's she has behind those eyelids of hers hopefully, in due time, I'll find out soon.
*Blue looks around before removing his suit and resting his head on the bed next to her form*
Your POV
I remember darkness, then lights in front of my closed eyes. I feel warmth on my left side, I open my eyes, Jaime is holding me while sitting in a chair next to me at the same time. WTH. What happened?
He does look really cute like this though. His strong arms, his slender yet muscular build, his tan skin, his black, soft hair, those..........brown eyes. OH MY GOD HE'S LOOKING AT ME CHECKING HIM OUT!
"J-Jaime, Wh--"
"*gasps* I'M NOT DREAMING! YOU ARE AWAKE!" He shouts.
Instead of sitting and hugging my waist he's now for me in his chest. That warm and muscular chest of his.
He backs away and I'm disappointed.
"DONT YOU EVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN I THOUGHT I LOST YOU!" He yells.
If didn't know any better, I'd think he was about to cry.
"WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING THAT STUPID!"
"Jaime"
"YOU ALMOST DIED (Y/N)! I WAS SCARED HALF TO DEATH, I CARE ABOUT YOU TOO MUCH FOR YOU TO BE DOING SOMETHING THAT STUPID! I dont matter as much as you do!"
"...Jaime" He cares about me.
"WHAT IS IT!" He shouts, I grab his collar and pull him on the hospital bed on top of me, then I flip him over. Me on top, him on bottom. I throw and knife from my pants pocket at the door lock, locking it immediately. I look down at Jaime, he's a blushing likes he's on fire.
"You said you care about me just now, how much?" By now, he was a whole new shade of red I had never seen before.
"Uh..*gulps* a ...too much" he mumbles. His eyes dart towards my lips, I get the idea. I lean closer towards him, I grind myself against him, he groans. I like teasing him like this, it's really fun. He closes the distance between us and the make-out session is entense.
I tug at his shirt wanting it off, he takes off. Oh my god, look at his everything! Why would cover that up! Talk about a turn-on.
Things start to get a little steamy before I hear someone coming down the hallway. I back away from Jaime, get up, run to the door and take the knife from the door lock. I threw Jamie's shirt at him. He got the idea and climbed off the bed. I got back in bed right before BLACK CANARY shows up to see that I'm awake and well. She hugs me and it kinda hurt. Jaime wasn't on my stomach, he was near but not on it, nor was he near it when he hugged me. Canary, however, wasnt too cautious and it caused me to yelp out of pain. She backs away and tells me how I'll have a three vacation for my 'brave act.'
Why I was particularly excited though, was that Canary also sensed what was happening between me and Jaime. So, She gave Jaime a month and a half vacation. OMG, Canary is the best. A whole month and a half with a smokin hot new boyfriend, Damn shit is about to get quite 'juicy'.
