Lets get to know each other better

The next day I run around getting supplies and prepping the apartment. Marie is an amazing assistant and I buy her lunch for running all over the city with me and being amazing company. Having been an assistant I know how much work goes into the job, let alone the extra's that get thrown into the mix, like today's shopping trip.

The apartment is all set up. Ive got a selection of PS3 games, food, pizza is set to deliver at 8. Glasses are chilling in the fridge and the Pino Colada's are ready to be poured.

They all arrive within minutes of each other as I serve out the drinks. We sit and chat and they all ask about my life in Australia. I tell them I have always loved comedies and sketch shows like SNL. I grew up watching Fast forward, Full Frontal and Big GIrls Blouse - I explain to them that the women on that show then created Kath and Kim that Molly Shannon had a crack at in the US version. Then I go and I Fangirl hard all over them and catch myself as though I am having an out of body experience.

I compliment all their careers one by one and I get to Kate and I tell her that I first heard about her on a site called AfterEllen when I was a closeted teen and when I heard that she was going to be on SNL years later I was so excited for her and have been a massive fan ever since.

All the girls look at Kate and simultaneously saw "AWWWW"

Kate blushes and looks down going red.

Leslie nudges her with her shoulder.

"Shall we have another round before the pizza arrives?" Kirsten pipes up.

"Ill get the blender going" I say as I jump up, still watching Kate as she is play fighting with Leslie now.

Melissa offers to help me in the kitchen. We get chatting about the movie and my ideas that I submitted to Paul. She compliments me on the work ive contributed to the movie and cant wait to get on set.

Kate and Leslie are chatting away drinking and occasionally I catch them looking over to Melissa and I in the kitchen. I get curious but think nothing more of it.

Kristen sorts out the pizza a moment later and we lounge around gnawing away laughing. Any nerves I had are long gone. But I cant be sure if that is the Pina's or the amount of fun we are having. These ladies are so down to earth and genuine.

I scoff my 4th piece of pizza as I set up the PS3. I begin to struggle to get the connection working and I ask if anyone knows how to get it going. Kate chimes in as she slides off the couch and crawls over to the tv cabinet next to me "This is a job for Holtzmannnnn Baby!"

We all laugh as she gets it hooked up in a flash. "Thanks Holtzy" I say with a smile. I get a Holtzmann wink in return as she hands me one of the controls and sits next to me on the ground. I can do nothing but blush and point "AGHHHHH! - That signature wink! I love it!!"

Kate blushes and tells me to shut up. I give her a overacted shocked expression. I have no idea what is coming over me and I cant help it and I frankly dont want it to stop.

"So what are we playing?" Leslie asks

"I thought Fifa would be everyone's game" I say as I pass the controls back.

Melissa says she will sit this one out and be the commentator.

Kristen and Leslie struggle a bit with the controls but get into it. Kristen and I VS Kate and Les.

Kristen and Les are still on the couch and Kate and I are still on the floor next to each other. Everyone is so competitive and slagging each other off. Kate keeps trying to swat the control out of my hand when I get close enough to shoot for goal. She has definitely played this game before... and Fifa too.
