Chapter 5

Chapter 5:

As we walked behind them, I couldn’t help but admire Nathan. Even from the back he was beautiful. His hair was perfectly styled, standing up in a small quiff. His black hoodie that had ‘maybe’ written across the front, which met his black baggy jeans that were tucked into his grey high tops at the bottom. I noticed that when he walked, his head hung slightly forward, not in a weird hump-back way but in an attractive way, it was his swag. I was snapped from my thoughts by Crissy elbowing me. “owww what was that for?” I asked, she elbowed me really hard! “We’re here, but look at the room number” she said. I didn’t quite understand why she wanted me to look at the number of the room? It wasn’t until I looked at the number that I realised why. Tom and Kelsey were sharing room 246 and Nathan was in room 247.

“You’re right next to us!”I said, maybe with a little to much excitement. “really?” Tom said looking at me. “Yah,see” I said as I took out my room key and opened room 248, we all walked in. “well would ya look at that” Nathan said, “you’re right next to me, we could get the door between the two rooms inside opened. You know to connect the rooms and we could watch movies or something after the concert?” was he really saying this? Did he just ask me and Crissy to watch movies with him later? “Ya that would be fun!” Crissy said to him. “Oh, that’s what I was saying early before, I uh, got distracted” he said glancing at me. “Are you guys coming to the show tonight” “We suurree are” I said, remembering that we had to be there at four o clock and told Mom we would meet her at her room and 3:45. “We have VIP, and are meant to be there for four…we are supposed to meet my Mom at her room at 3:45 to go over… which is now” I said slightly disappointedly. “you do realise that they wont start the meet and greet without us” Nathan said, grinning. “whats your point?” Crissy said looking at him. Nathan told us that if we stayed with him and went over with him we could get in the way he was going in and he would sort us out from there. “Why not?” I said grinning. I realised then that Tom had disappeared. “Where did Tom go?” I asked “probably to get changed or something” Nathan said with a shrug.  “okay, im gunna call the reception and ask them to open that door, yah?” he said to me. “yah sure” I said smiling at him. I sat on the bed and just watched him talking. From the minute he picked up the phone he was acting far more mature, speaking in a more sophisticated way, it fascinated me. As I watched him I couldn’t help but notice those lips, the ones that always seemed so pink and soft, now seemed so full and appealing. He looked over at me and winked while still talking, god I wanted him to kiss me. Then there was the eyes. So bright, so warming and welcoming,the greenest green I had ever seen. There was something about him that made me feel safe. What am I saying? I met him twenty minutes ago!!

Crissy must have noticed me staring at him cuz she, yet again, elbowed me rather hard in the ribs. “ok, really? What now?” I whisper shouted at her. “you really do like him don’t you, not just like you did as a fan before we met him” she whispered to me. “I I don’t know Crissy, I mean there is just something about him…” she just smirked at me. I turned back to where Nathan was sitting, he was just hanging up the phone. “Someone is on their way up to open the door” Nathan grinned at us. “CRAP” I shouted “what” both Nathan and Crissy said to me, rather startled. “We were meant to meet my Mom and Ev at 3:45! Its 4:15!!” I said running out of the room and to Moms room. I knocked on the door. She was going to be so mad! “Mel, where the HECK have you been? Iv been worried sick” she shouted at me. I was about to say something but I was cut off. “Its my fault, Ms.Macken, my apologies for keeping her” it was Nathan. I spun around to see him now standing directly behind me. He smiled down at me and I returned the gesture. “I invited Mel and Crissy to come over with me, it means they will skip standing in a line for almost an hour” he explained to my Mom, he was being all polite and posh. It almost seemed like he was trying to impress her, but why would he want to do that? I thought to myself.

"Where is Crissy?" i asked Nathan, who was standing extreamly close to me, we were still standing in the hall outside my Moms room. He was standing behind me, when I turned around we were almost touching. "She stayed in the room to wait for the person who is opening the door" he said to me, quite enough for only me to hear. "oh,ok" 

"Right then, everyone ready to go?" Nathan asked us all. "yep" i said to him. "Cmon then lets go" Crissy, Mom, and Ev followed along Me and Nathan. As we walked we talked about what it was like doing meet and greets. He said that he loved meeting fans, it was one of his favourite parts of the job.
