Dark, mysterious and quiet were three words to perfectly describe the hidden figure of the forest.
Eyes shining through the shadows that the hood provided. Danger was something casted upon you with just one look.

It was an all classic tale, King driven to madness by the thought of power. Yet, this man was no King, nor was he powerful.
The boy who had given information was given few bruises to the face as to his request, he knew just as much as I did that his pack would not let him be if he gave details up without a fight.
Things were going to rapidly change and I didn't know how I was going to deal with that. I was going to have to converse with people for long periods of time, this is troubling as most conversations I've had with people ended with my fist in their face. Most of all I was going to have to speak to the Alpha.
I cursed as I hurriedly got dressed, the water dripping down my body made me feel like I was going to freeze any minute. Today was the day that I would walk into the wolves den. I had packed all the shit that I had gotten from Tony and I was going to crash a party that was only meant for joy; oh joy.
The things I do to keep my sanity in check.

I was watching from afar. They were scattered everywhere in the open area that had tables set out and barbecues making mountains of food for lunch. It surprised me really how no one had noticed I was here yet.
I set my giant duffle bag to the side, took a deep breath in and took my first step towards the pack. They were finally going to meet me.
I grew closer to the edge of the trees and this is where I decided to put my hands in the air to show I meant no harm. Slowly walking forward with my shoulders tense and my head bowed. I gulped with slight unease as the chatter began to quiet down before coming to a stop while I took this as a sign and stopped walking a few metres away from the crowd where I lifted my head. They could only see my eyes as my hood and thick bandana covered the rest of my face.
I looked through everyone before my eyes zeroed in on the Alpha as he started to stomp his way towards me, his eyes hard and his lips pursed. He looked like a bull.
Grabbing one of my arms and twisting it behind my back I clenched my teeth, not in pain, but irritation from not being able to fight back. The Alpha jerked my arm down causing a ripple effect on my body as I came down to one of my knees before my other was kicked roughly in the same position.
"I'm here to talk."
Before I could hear anything else I saw the Alphas arm rise high in the air before slamming back down on to my head causing me to black out.

A sting of pain woke me from my unconsciousness and with quick realisation came that I was slapped across the face.
